Reimagining the future of healthy aging through interdisciplinary innovation.

By 2030, over 20% of Americans will be 65 or older. To address the challenges and
opportunities of this demographic shift, the Charles D. Close School of Entrepreneurship has
partnered with Drexel University's Elkins Park Campus to launch the Healthy Aging
Entrepreneurship Hub.

This university-wide initiative brings together students, clinicians, faculty and entrepreneurs to design, test and launch solutions that promote lifelong independence, accessibility and
caregiver well-being.

Opportunities to participate are now live! Graduate students, doctoral candidates and faculty teams can apply to our inaugural Student Innovation Pitch Competition to gain mentorship, venture support and prize funding.

Economic outlook. Labor markets. Monetary policy. Leading voices in economics came together at Drexel LeBow to examine what’s ahead.

Hosted by LeBow’s School of Economics, the 2nd Annual Drexel Economic Forum brought current students, alumni, researchers and industry professionals together for an afternoon of discussion and insight.

This year’s program featured Mark Zandi, PhD, chief economist at Moody’s Analytics; Ben Casselman, chief economics correspondent at The New York Times; and former Federal Reserve Bank presidents Patrick T. Harker, PhD, and Loretta Mester, PhD. Roc Armenter, PhD, executive vice president and economist at the Federal Reserve Bank of Philadelphia, moderated the monetary policy discussion.

The Drexel Economic Forum was presented with the support of Red Spruce Capital and Drexel University Trustee and LeBow Dean’s Advisory Board member Amish Desai ’03.
