🎉Happy #BookBirthday to The Ming & Wah Detective Agency: Summer Drama! by Ming & Wah Chen and illustrated by Sarah Morrissette! Available now wherever books are sold. Get 25% off by using code FALL26 on our website!🎉

🔎About the Book🔎
Ten-year-old twins Ming and Wah can get to the bottom of any mystery! Sometimes they disagree on methods, but they're always in sync when they crack a case. With a librarian mother and a journalist father, they were practically born to be detectives. They're bursting with useful information from all the books they devour, and they know exactly what questions to ask in an investigation.

So, the summer before fifth grade, they decide to go pro and open up The Ming and Wah Detective Agency: "No case too small for fees not too large!" Their best friend, Aileen, soon joins the team. Luckily, their small town in New Jersey is filled with mysteries, big and small: a vandalized neighborhood, a rigged horseshoe contest, and even a masked burglar! Will the young sleuths be able to connect the dots in each case and prevent jerks from spoiling everyone's summer?

The first installment of The Ming & Wah Detective Agency series introduces the curious, clever, and determined suburban sleuths, Ming and Wah. With a sweet, lighthearted tone, clear writing, and one case per chapter, this is the perfect book to introduce young readers to the mystery genre, and the satisfaction of deducing solutions.

Let books be. Let books represent the beautiful, diverse world we live in and the many (oftentimes difficult) moments of life that readers of all ages experience. Let books serve as windows and mirrors, and let them do their job of saying “Hey, you’re not alone.” Let books convey emotions of joy, love, tenderness, revelry, sadness, grief, fear, uncertainty, and everything in between. That’s what books are meant to do, and whether or not we choose to read them should be something we always get to decide for ourselves and should not be dictated by others.

Explore these titles and more on our website: www.leeandlow.com.

💞October is Pregnancy & Infant Loss Awareness Month. Ours: A Story of Loss and Healing is a heartfelt story for families who have experienced this unexpected loss and are healing and processing their grief together.

💞 In her author's note, Mandy Settembre says, "Given how common pregnancy loss is, there should be more resources and stories—especially for children—that help readers understand this unique kind of bereavement. . . .My hope is that Ours can act as a starting point for young readers and their caregivers to help them name these unrealized expectations and process their grief together—ultimately incorporating the experience into their family’s story of resilience and love."

💞Now through Oct. 31, use code OURS26 on the Lee & Low website to get 30% off this important picture book (link in our bio). Light tan background with a border of flowers.
