At 47, I’ve realized that growth isn’t just about what you choose to look at—it’s about what you choose to tune out.

The past is full of memories, lessons, and old stories (some great, some heavy), but they belong in the background. Sometimes you have to temporarily blind yourself to the distractions, the expectations, and the “what-ifs” of yesterday to clearly see who you are building today.
