Pope Pius IX once spent a holiday on this hill, a guest of the Grand Duke of Tuscany.

Le Filigare has stood here since the 11th century, halfway between Siena and Florence, in the heart of Chianti Classico.

Today the Cassetti Burchi family farms its vineyards organically, with Sangiovese at the center and oenologist Alberto Antonini guiding the wines.

Save this for your Chianti route: taste the wine, then stay the night.

Book your tasting through @gowinescape, link in bio.

Stone arches, soft light, and countryside silence. A place to pause, breathe, and experience Tuscany the way it’s meant to be lived. 🍂

Where do we begin?! As my best friend pointed out this morning… isn’t it wild that a couple in Australia found you and Toby in tiny wee Matlock, and chose you to shoot their Italian wedding? And yes, it is pretty wild. And believe me it got even wilder when the Scottish and Irish families rocked up in Tuscany for a three day party! Come on Eileen!!! 💃 But it all made total sense the second we met you. This was your place, and you two are a dream. And what a setting - those views are etched in my mind. Cheers for having us! 🇮🇹🥂

Before the processional. Before the vows. Before a single guest had taken their seat.

Complete quiet when the space still belongs entirely to the florist.

Some weddings have a way of making elegance feel effortless.
A modern lace gown, accessories chosen to complement its elegance, an outdoor ceremony overlooking the Tuscan hills, and a carefully composed reception where long white-dressed tables met the warm glow of suspended candelabras.

Grapes and flowers framing the seating chart, a champagne tower, and a tablescape designed to feel both contemporary and timeless, all coming together as the Tuscan sunset painted the landscape.

A considered balance of colour, texture, proportion and light, where every element was chosen with intention, and the overall vision shaped down to the smallest detail.
