Late September in the Tuscan countryside. The kind of light you wish would stay a little longer. And an energy that carried well into the night.

There’s something about being surrounded by people you feel completely yourself with. You stop wondering how you look. You laugh a little louder. You let yourself get carried away.

And all that beauty becomes something you can actually feel.

Pope Pius IX once spent a holiday on this hill, a guest of the Grand Duke of Tuscany.

Le Filigare has stood here since the 11th century, halfway between Siena and Florence, in the heart of Chianti Classico.

Today the Cassetti Burchi family farms its vineyards organically, with Sangiovese at the center and oenologist Alberto Antonini guiding the wines.

Save this for your Chianti route: taste the wine, then stay the night.

Book your tasting through @gowinescape, link in bio.

Before the processional. Before the vows. Before a single guest had taken their seat.

Complete quiet when the space still belongs entirely to the florist.

🤍Wedding Weekend Day 3: When I envisioned this third day I knew I wanted it to be about two things: true relaxation to decompress after all the wedding excitement, and giving our guests a taste of the authentic Tuscan town life that we love so much.

We kicked off our first full day as newlyweds with a cooking class making pasta together, took a winery tour of the historic @lefiligare grounds and enjoyed an estate wine tasting leading straight into lunch. That afternoon was pure magic, lounging poolside overlooking the rolling hills with endless bottles of estate rosé.

As the sun started to set, we whisked everyone away to the charming nearby village of San Donato for a private garden terrace dinner at the family-owned @anticatrattorialatoppa , complete with golden hour Tuscan views. With the fabulous Luigi taking care of us, we threw out formal seating charts this evening in favor of a family-style dinner where everyone could just be together while bottles of local wine and Italian food flowed.

Back at the resort estate, we ended the night sipping leftover Franciacorta on our bridal villa terrace under the stars with some of our closest friends. The next morning brought our bittersweet farewell breakfast on property before we hugged everyone goodbye and slipped away to start our honeymoon.✈️

I’d relive this exact post-wedding day a million times over. ✨🇮🇹
