Dear diary, so far camp is great. My days have been filled with fun activities and I’ve been making lots of new friends. Definitely not completely alone doing no activities. Actually, TBH somewhere in between. My art did a self portrait because I wasn’t listening carefully enough. Los Buenos boys getting back in shape for the musical Chaos about to be summoned, and, reciprocally, the perfectly timed cooling groove vet center is you in the earth and movies you too it’s rhythm.

I contend there is #profundity in frivolousness and #silliness; that it is those things which purport to hold nothing of consequence or #substance that can be found to provide us with value and meaning in terms of how we conceptualize and #experience our lives. That’s why I’m always a little offended when someone says “just joking“. JUST? What else has the emotionally #alchemic ability to transmute a downcast state of mind in an instant?It’s a #mental or #psychological #phenomenon that in #real #time has a #positive #impact on your #physical and #spiritual state of #being.

I’ve been busy. Making art at a furious rate, including lots of #silly #drawings and lots of new pieces of #fashionstyle , Including a #pterodactyl #bolo tie as featured in this post. I built a little stage set and I’m going to go live later this afternoon to sell #new #art and sing some songs for tips. I really appreciate the immense generosity of your interest and support. When I first began making art I didn’t have the words to describe the motivation, but i think it stemmed from an innate and spiritually primal need to describe the richness of my inner reality in all of its joy and terror. Then it became a means of expanding my inner reality through the connective, reciprocal chemistry and chaos of creative collaboration: the bonds of sacred friendship. I just want to say that I feel understood and held in such a deep way by all of you who have come to my aid in this time of vulnerability and seismic flux.
