Your morning ritual - elevated. Minerals your body recognises. Hydration your cells actually use. LEMALT starts your day the way it should start. by @lemalt.co
Building a brand will humble you. You’ll get ghosted, doubted, and criticised but every lesson shapes the foundation. 5 lessons I’ve learned since founding LEMALT. Enjoy the journey 🤍 by @lemalt.co
I’ve never really introduced myself properly. My names Ben, a busy dad just living life and this is why I built LEMALT. After a routine blood test, it showed that I was dehydrated. It left me confused because I knew I was drinking enough water each day. What I didn’t know? Hydration isn’t just about water. It’s minerals that move water into your cells so you can retain it. Without them, my body wasn’t absorbing the water I was drinking which just led to more unnecessary bathroom breaks. That day set me down the path of rebuilding the timeless salt + lemon ritual into something clean, modern and functional. The current era of every day movers has vastly changed with people pushing their bodies to the limits at the gym, Hyrox training, marathon running or just leading a busy life. Your body is demanding more but people aren’t educated on what your body actually needs. I created this because I needed it and I knew others did too. Now it’s my daily ritual. Maybe it can become yours too. Check it out via the link in bio by @lemalt.co
If something is supposed to be part of your daily routine, why is it designed to live on your kitchen bench? Big tub. Loose powder. Scoop buried somewhere near the bottom. It works when you’re at home, but daily life doesn’t stay at home. You go to work. You train. You travel. You do school drop-offs. You leave the house without thinking about the supplement sitting in the cupboard. Most people don’t lose interest in the science. The routine just becomes inconvenient. We built LEMALT for function first. No fluff, no unnecessary ingredients, just meaningful minerals. But the next step was making that function easier to take with you, without sacrificing what made LEMALT different in the first place. Because “daily” shouldn’t mean whenever you remember it. Daily should mean anywhere. by @lemalt.co
I’ve shared the story behind LEMALT before. I had a problem, I created something I needed, and it turned into a product that was far more successful than I expected. It’s a genuine story, but I’ve also realised that founder-led language is no longer the differentiator it once was. “I built this.” “I had a problem.” “So I created the solution.” You’ve heard it before, because almost every founder and every competing brand is now telling their story using the exact same formula. People consume more content than ever, which means they’ve also become much better at recognising when authenticity is being used as a marketing strategy. Even when the story itself is real, explaining it through the same language as everyone else can make something genuinely different feel exactly the same. That doesn’t mean people no longer want to see the person behind the brand. Putting a face to what you’ve built still creates trust, and sharing your story still matters. But being a founder isn’t what separates you from your competitors anymore. What you’ve genuinely built, why it deserves to exist, and how you communicate that difference is what matters. Founder-led content isn’t dead. We just need to stop speaking like every founder before us. by @lemalt.co
After a bit of time away on holidays, it feels bloody good to be back into my morning routine. Honestly noticed straight away was the difference from not having my daily @lemalt.co Celtic Mineral Salts. It’s funny how quickly you take something for granted until it’s missing. Sometimes it’s the simple daily habits that make the biggest difference. 💪 www.lemalt.com.au or click link in bio. . . . . #lemalt #hydration #mineralsalts #hybridathletes #recovery by @lemalt.co

YOU’RE NOT DEHYDRATED. YOU’RE DEMINERALISED. @lemalt.co has played a huge part in helping me tick all the boxes. No better feeling now, knowing something that actually works is going into my body. Another great Australian brand, no gimmicks, as the proofs in the pudding. . . . #lemalt #hydation #hydrateyourself #hybridathlete #roadtostockholm by @lemalt.co
Introducing LEMALT’s newest stakeholder. Been here since the very beginning. The sleepless nights. The obsession. The formulating, studying, testing and rebuilding. Every late night in the kitchen. Every mistake. Every lesson. Every early formulation, mixed by hand. Blood, sweat & tears. What a man. 🤝 @albomp by @lemalt.co

Running a brand has honestly taught me that the smallest details can completely shape customer trust. One ingredient changed the entire direction of LEMALT. Early on, we used Freeze Dried Lemon Powder that contained a minute trace of Maltodextrin in the formula. At first, I didn’t think much of it because it’s common in a lot of electrolyte products. But after a customer raised concerns, I actually took the time to properly research it instead of getting defensive. And honestly? I could understand why people were hesitant. That single conversation completely shifted the direction of the formula and how I approached product development moving forward. It reinforced something important: Just because an ingredient is industry standard doesn’t mean your customers want it in their body. Another lesson came from something ridiculously small: A smudged best before date. We originally stamped the dates directly onto the packaging. During transit, some of the ink didn’t fully dry and smudged slightly. One customer immediately accused us of selling old product, claimed the date “had to be two years old,” and demanded an instant refund. Classic small business moment. What hit me wasn’t even the refund itself. It was realising how quickly trust can disappear over one tiny packaging detail. That one situation pushed manufacturing to completely change the process and move to printed stickers instead of stamped dates. Ironically, a few weeks later, the same customer was liking our social media posts again. So apparently the “terrible” product still made the cut 😂 But that’s the reality of building a brand: Customers don’t just judge the product. They judge the ingredients. The packaging. The presentation. The tiny details you thought nobody would notice. And honestly, LEMALT is better because of it. by @lemalt.co
