《A retelling of their story | MadaSu lore》 #madaraxoc #narutooc

It started back when a destructive God known as Susano'o was banished from the heavens for his unruly behavior. Falling to earth, he landed by the Hii River and followed it upstream on foot, where he heard a couple weeping over their daughter, who sat in silence.

As Susano'o approached the small family, he asked a simple question about their sorrows, and the couple woefully explained the horrendous monster that terrorized their mountains and their family. Yamata-no-Orochi, the eight-headed serpent, demanded a human sacrifice every year. He had devoured their seven previous daughters, and their last daughter, Kushinadahime, was to be next.

Captivated by the young woman's beauty, Susano'o devised a solution for the mountain and the couple and proposed a deal with them, stating, "If I defeat Orochi, I want her to be my wife."

The couple agreed, giving Kushinadahime over to Susano'o for her protection from Orochi. Susano'o grinned, admiring his new bride, and transformed her into a wooden comb to carefully place it into his thick mane.

Once Kushinadahime was kept safe, Susano'o went on to brew a sake. One strong enough to drown the eight-headed Orochi and weaken his state. Multiple vats were made and placed within the forest, with Susano'o awaiting the serpent to appear and dunk all eight heads down to drink the sake. Drunk and limp, Orochi fell, and Susano'o sprang from his hiding spot to attack the serpent. He proceeded to behead all eight heads with his sword and made a long cut down to the tail, only to strike something hard. Peeling back the scaly skin, he discovered a new blade. A blade called Kusanagi-no-tsurugi.

As a gift and an attempt to redeem his reputation, he gifted the blade to his older sister, Amaterasu, the Sun Goddess.

Yamato-no-Orochi was no more, and Susano'o returned Kushinadahime to her original form. They were soon wed, and he built his new wife a shrine and a beautiful palace for them in the Land of Izumo.

For there, Kushinadahime had fallen in love with Susano'o and gave him a child.

Fun fact about the admin: I was super obsessed with this stage musical and book for a long time, to the point where I trained under a professional opera performer for five years. 😅

I was lucky to get an attentive teacher because she did not allow me to make mistakes while singing. But hey, I can hit the E6 whenever I want without damaging my vocal cords. Diddy learned about my musical stage past because we discussed Halloween ideas and POTO came up, and I went to mention my obsession with it... Oh, how it comes back to bite me sometimes. 😂😂 I went with the Japanese original cast because IG did something right for once.

《First Encounter | Warring Era/FoundersAU》#narutooc #madaraxoc

Bodies were scattered across the field. Blood spilled, and weapons were discarded after a final blow from a sharp blade sliced through the malleable flesh. Senju and Uchiha were back at war, and as it continued, more and more shinobi required medical assistance.

This was the Warring States Era.

It was the job of a medical kunoichi to provide first aid and save her comrades' lives; they plea for her assistance as Death was slowly closing in.

"It's alright; I'm going to treat you," a feminine voice spoke as her gloved hands hovered over the chest of a wounded Senju who laid on the ground, grasping for air. She had to be swift and precise, with no room for an easy mistake when these shinobi depended on her to bring them back to a stable condition.

Su knelt in her blue armor, her back turned to the ongoing battle since her focus had to be entirely on the bleeding man, her hands diligently working to close the wound and stop the hemorrhaging.

As she was about to move on to the next patient, an approaching unfamiliar scent caught her attention, and her battle instincts screamed to move. Swiftly, she grabbed the nearest weapon she had on her person and turned in place to meet with the one who was aiming for her neck.

The soldier maiden's scalpel collided with a katana in the blink of an eye, a spark of light glinting as it flashed between the two metal objects. Madara instantly knew who she was, odd as though her presence had appeared. Blonde, young, and agile. Skilled with an odd array of medical weapons in addition to the usual. A healer, more so than a fighter. The coveted member of the Senju clan. What, he thought, could she want with trying to battle me, the leader of the Uchiha, face to face?

"Heh..." Madara grunted, his smirk coming to the forefront of his face as the blades were at a standstill. The beauty of her face, all the attributes of the noble Senju and the pretty Uzumaki, with something else Madara couldn't quite tell, were evident. She carried the same condition of pallor as Tobirama, though it shone more favorably on her delicate features than on his rugged ones.

The village, Madara's perfect dream, has been made a reality. Senju, Uchiha, and a few other surrounding clans have joined hands.

The buildings are in their infancy, growing day and night, thanks to the support of the strong hands of the joint clans. Lines of division are erased, creating what he hopes can be lasting peace.

Sunlight filters through the trees as he strolls alongside his new wife, observing the village's quick progress. A new set of Uchiha robes has been made for her, to flow with her shape rather than to conceal it. The fabrics allow her to move and breathe with flawless ease. Her belt has been made adjustable, as she is carrying the future of both clans, the promise and manifestation of peace, within her womb.

As Madara gazes down to his right, he notices the natural rosy glow she has from walking in the sunshine. Her blue eyes, accustomed to the light from years of being a soldier and healer, do not flinch from it. Madara just can't help but notice how well the role of "Uchiha" suits her, and he can't wait to see what she brings to the clan as its new matriarch.

Many such thoughts of the future run through his mind, as he glances past her to see the shinobi academy underway. A place where children can go to learn before risking their lives for others' causes sounds ridiculously idyllic to the Uchiha of old, but Madara is hoping that his future children will be able to find success there. Make friends from many different backgrounds, not all of whom will be forced into predestined roles.

"You shine brightly today," he murmurs to Su, looking back over to her fondly. Perhaps it is the glow of new life within her, combined with her natural beauty, that causes him to speak out.

A cute little kitty and a big bad porcupine? Who would’ve thought? Madara often had a laugh to himself every time he thought of how different he and his wife were, yet how well they got along.

He loves her, his kitty. He loved how she mew for him during pets, as she did the first night they had together. “I’ll never let anyone hurt you,” he thought to himself as he held her paw.

“Your spiky Uchiha will protect you.”

If only the Uchiha clan knew how much of a softie their brutal warlord really could be.

"You can't help but purr when I hold you like this, dear."

Su smiled with her eyes closed. "You've never complained before, Maddy."

This is for Founder Era AU for YEARS AFTER it was established, not DURING, because I am fully aware of the culture changes, so don't bother to correct me when I already know. Dr. Su has a unique thing about her: how long she can survive because of her healing factor. So, is she old in this? Yes.

《MadaSu | Continuation, founders AU 》#madasu

I had left the home I had built over the past 16 years. I had seen the village experiment that I had been planning with Hashirama since childhood was on the path to failing miserably within our lifetimes. I had seen the path the Uchiha were to go down, warned our clan leadership of it, yet none of them decided to join me. I knew I was to be branded a traitor, and even an evil man, by those who clung to the Senju's promise and propaganda.

There was nothing more I could do. That was what I had thought when I left in the middle of the night, after my last shared union with my wife. Even in that moment, I didn't have the heart to tell her what I planned.

I had broken her heart every single day since I left, and every day I wished I had consulted with her about my plan before I disappeared. Perhaps deep down I really did know she would think me delusional. I always hated being told no. But in the time since then, I had beckoned her to leave the entire village structure, to join me on my plan for this new world, and even gave her the location of my hideaway via messenger falcon. I beseeched her to leave behind the life we had created, even our children, and let it disappear into a faded past. It wasn't absurd to me. My eldest was of age, and he could care for the younger ones, who were all on the path to becoming capable shinobi. They could change the course of the Uchiha better than I could. And we would all be reunited in the new world, anyway.

But when she came to me finally, and I saw the sorrow painted over her porcelain visage, I couldn't help but be awash with guilt myself. I saw just how much I had hurt her, and remembered just how much she meant to me. She wasn't a part of the village structure that I could leave behind so easily. She wasn't a political marriage, a tool of Konoha's disposal.

She was the one piece I could never live without, even as I sought endlessly to create my new world.

In our initial exchange, she told me about the disaster that had come as a natural consequence of my power vacuum.

It was everything I could do to hold back my rage at what had become of the leading Uchiha family. My o by @lemony_su

I was still a young man trying to do good in the world, guided by the morals I saw in my favorite fictional characters and my father. But when you took the chance on me and decided to wait nine whole months for me to get off deployment, giving this young, introverted man from Texas a chance? “I’ll have tea with you, but I draw the line at stuffing myself into that itchy dress,” is what Madara first told his daughter when she asked.

Clearly, the man had no defense when the little girl presented her tears as a response to his boundary. And of course, Su took the opportunity to remind Madara just how overjoyed he was to be blessed with a daughter like Suzu. She reminded him of those sweet eyes that looked up at him from day one.

So, Madara ended up… here.

Sipping the air, talking about all the important subjects a young girl could wish to discuss, and enjoying some much-needed father-daughter bonding. In a...glittery, frilly dress, and a matching tiara—Hashirama and Izuna better not be watching from the heavens.

One day, she’ll look back with fondness at the photos Su snapped, seeing her old man in that ripped-up princess dress three sizes too small and never built for his physique, and smile at his gloomy pout.

Because the most important thing will be the memory they made together, and the knowledge that her father cherished time with her ever since she was little.

No matter how big and bad a man is, wherever he is known to start a war, his daughter will always find a way to humble him.

Thoughts from Madara | Founders AU #madasu #narutooc #aulore

Looking back even now, I regret not speaking my mind to her before I left. I remember it well. My mind was already made up as I stood beside her, watching the sunset as the tides blanketed the shoreline. I planned to take her to the seaside and spill every thought that was plaguing my mind. Cleanse both of our minds and get it over with.

I wanted to tell her every troubled thing that was leading me astray from the family and village we'd built over the years. But... when the time came, even after mulling it over, there was no way I could express to her that I wished to end our union of 15 years, without it sounding like I had fallen out of love with her. That was the furthest thing from the truth.

"Su... I..." I had begun, looking at the way her hair cascaded down her back, her body illuminated by the faint light of the orange sun. She had been waiting for me to say something. I could feel the tension emanating from her. But it was so peaceful now. How was I to tell her anything in this state? I was too weak. I was too focused on the moment, unwilling to break the illusory peace.

But reality was bitter, and I knew that if I remained living within the village, then ultimately the Uchiha would fall. Ultimately, my efforts to join with the Senju and others had led to nothing but a deep resentment for the very values of unity that I had been promised would be shared between all clans.

The Uchiha were never going to be equals.

I wish I could have told her the reason for my sudden departure. Because now, I am gone, and I do not doubt in my mind that she has taken it entirely the wrong way.

I regret being so weak that I couldn't even move my tongue to speak. I know she would've listened. Perhaps she could even cleanse the demon in my soul that was making me believe this. Was it a demon? Is it? I still have no idea. I do believe I came up with this on my own, and my own strong will is leading my way. If I were being led astray, surely the gods would draw me back to her. Back to my family and the village and the clan and Hashirama and Tobirama... but I know that is the easy by @lemony_su
