Here's to owning up to what I do🥂

I am an opera singer, classical singer, teaching artist, professor and entrepreneur. I love what I do.

It has taken me years to learn this art and I want to share it with the world. Classic music is not dead.

Get real with yourself. Get real with how you look. Are your gestures coming from a genuine place? Do you understand what you're saying and trying to communicate? DM me if you have any questions. by @lenoragreenroomstudios

Better late than never. 👏🏾🤣😅❤️

I’m so thankful the Lord blessed me with another year of life. Celebrate my birthday month with these amazing people! This past year stretched me, humbled me, and taught me more than I could’ve imagined. A friend spoke a word of encouragement by adding my age to 10. So why not give 10 lessons learned this year and take it into my next chapter:

1. Always, always put God first. He’ll keep you from things you never even saw coming. Jesus really be knowing. 🙌🏾❤️

2. Some people are meant to walk with you for a season, not a lifetime. Growth often changes who’s beside you and that is okay. People change, seasons change, and you can only take what is needed.

3. Be your own biggest advocate. Speak up for yourself, believe in yourself, and never forget your worth.

4. Don’t just live to work. Make memories. Laugh more. Love deeply. Life is so much bigger than what you do.

5. Rest. Your body and your soul need it.

6. Do life with people who genuinely take time to do life with you. Healthy relationships are a gift.

7. Believe in yourself as much as the people who love you believe in you.

8. People can be mean, hurtful, and cruel. Keep your heart soft and love anyway.

9. Take more risks. Growth is often waiting on the other side of faith.

10. Your story matters. You never know whose life it might impact.

I’m far from perfect, but I’m grateful for every lesson, every closed door, every answered prayer, every “not yet,” and every new beginning. Thank You, Lord, for 37 years of grace, growth, and purpose. Here’s to walking boldly into all that God has for me.
