📚 Reading Challenge Update! 👀

📖 Series
A Court of Thorns and Roses
Throne of Glass
Crescent City

I read ACOTAR a few years back but never got around to reading TOG and CC. So it seemed appropriate to challenge myself to try and read both before the new ACOTAR release in October.

I started this challenge at the end of May and I smashed it at the end of last month! Not only did I read both TOG and CC, I also managed a complete reread of ACOTAR. I am 100% chomping at the bit for the new books now! 😆

These series are so good. I flew through TOG and absolutely loved it, and by loved I mean I was devastated and it completely ruined me! 🙈😂

CC was also fantastic and I actually really enjoyed the switch to the urban setting. I can’t wait to see what further crossovers we will get in the next books. Exciting times ahead! 😆

📚 Have you read any of these series? Let me know in the comments! 😁

📚Shelfie Sunday 👀

Happy Weekend my lovelies! Here’s the obligatory Sunday shelfie!

I’m showing off some more wonderful morning light here which makes my little library feel magical! This past week the UK weather has been glorious so I’ve been making the most of it with my family. Not read as much as a result but March has still given me some top reads!

I just finished Half City and really enjoyed the Shadowhunter vibes and I’m now reading Wolf Worm.

What are you reading? Let me know in the comments!📚😁

📚Fantasy Friday! 👀📚

Happy Friday my lovelies!

One of the best things about bookstagram is being recommended books you never would have considered or, even been aware existed. It’s how I’ve been able to discover a new genre within fantasy and some of the best books I’ve read all year. LitRPG and Progression Fantasy were never on my radar, now I am a huge fan and will openly rave about them to anyone who will listen! 😂

So here’s a big shout out to all those recommending their favourite reads and sharing the love! 🙌❤️

📚
•The Wandering Inn
•Unsouled
•How To Defeat A Demon King In Ten Easy Steps
•The First Step
•He Who Fights With Monsters

What has been your favourite bookstagram discovery? Let me know in the comments!📚😁

📚 Book Tour! 🌊⚔️ AD | Gifted

The Stolen Crown, book four in The Ever Seas series, is finally out in the world! I’ve ordered a copy to match these gorgeous hardcovers of books 1-3, hopefully they will arrive soon! 😆

🌊⚔️🌊

They stole his crown. So he stole their daughter....

For years, Erik, the scarred king of the Ever Kingdom, has thought of nothing but vengeance against the man who killed his father and trapped him beneath the waves, making him a prisoner in his own realm.

Until his enemy’s daughter unintentionally breaks the chains on the Ever, and Erik makes her the unwitting pawn in his vicious game of revenge.

She’s innocent. He’s vicious. But he will take back what he lost, no matter the price.

🌊⚔️🌊

Thanks again to @mtmctours & @authorljandrews for having me on tour and gifting me books 1-3! ❤️

📚October tbr! 👀📚🍂🍁

Happy Tuesday my lovelies! Absolutely loving my autumn reading so far!

I took this picture last week in preparation for this post but I’ve since added to the pile! 🙈
I’m just gonna go with it anyway and tell you that I’ve already read two additional books not in this list and added one or two ARCs/ebooks. It was rather a large pile to begin with so I’m under no illusions it will all get read, especially when I keep adding to it. 🙈😂

📖 Currently reading IT (buddy read), an ARC of The Belles of Wrath (fucking loving this book!), Slewfoot (buddy read) and I’ve also started the audio of Iron Gold. Go hard or go home I say! 😂

📚
Grim Tidings
The Rats
IT
Twig's Traveling Tomes
Legends & Lattes
The Horrors We Harbour
World War Z
Slewfoot
Songs of the Dead
Knight and the Moth
Cursed City
Tales of a Treacherous Fate
The Emperor’s Enemy

📚Additions 🤭
The Belles of Wrath
Iron Gold
This Prince Is Not Charming
The Burning Tide
Death Wish

Do you have an October read list and are you sticking to it? Let me know in the comments! 📚😁

📚September Wrap-Up! 👀🔥

Happy Tuesday my lovelies!

September was a smaller reading month for me as I found life generally a little busier. It was a decent month though with two five ⭐️ reads.

I read four ARCs including Timeless and Crone which were my two five stars, highly recommend both of these. Crone is out now and is a perfect spooky read, Timeless is releasing next year.

I also started a buddy read of IT which I’m having an absolute amazing time with. It’s only my second King book but he’s definitely an author I need to read more of.

I have a huge stack of books for my October, spooky reading. There’s no chance I’ll get to them all but will be giving it a go anyway lol. I will be sharing my list shortly so keep and eye out! 👀😁

What was your favourite read in September? Let me know in the comments!📚😁
