Avé les copaings 🩷
Trop trop trop content d'avoir pu passer une semaine avec ma douce (@magrittemangedesfrites, une amie en or, une grande femme de culture, une beauté de la nature) et son Jules (@Bastien Fayet, auteur de Calvaire Marchepied, disponible dans toutes vos librairies indépendantes) à tout juste deux mois de la naissance de leur premier enfant, les copaings quoi.
J'aurai vu Avignon et son festival de saltimbanques, la ville d'Arles et de Montpellier (Hérault), et je repars le cœur lourd de beaux souvenirs mais surtout avec l'accent qui chante 🐦

This week marks my 6th year out of the closet!

As a hand on the shoulder of the young Léo I was 6 years ago, afraid, lonely, and gayer than a Stanley Tucci role, I dedicate this 6th year rebirth to every single one of you who has helped me figure out who I am and what I want out of this life.

Surreal last few weeks, I got to ride the California Zephyr (the looooong way) from Chicago to San Francisco via Denver, it was a childhood dream come true, and it truly went beyond all my expectations, making that journey together with some great people (@t.0by & @vincent_inthislife, let's do this again!)
I got to share a moment that would've made my 10-year-old self cry for days with @heyitsjessalex at the Jackson's family house in Gary.
60 hours of a train ride later, I met with my San Jose sisters (@shesmysunshine_100) for a memorable GTC week, thank you for making the Bay feel like home 🌉
Back to reality this week for another edition of Cloudfest EU in Europa Park with my beautiful British wife @k1m_bd8 (no hetero) 👭

I want to thank my husband @nicotoself for holding down the fort, taking care of our first-born child while I was "working" these last 3 weeks, I love you more than anything, happy 6th anniversary ❤️ I love you by @leocxbasira

It feels dreamy getting to experience all this beauty together with my husband, while we're moving halfway across the world, leaving Taiwan behind just a couple of weeks ago, and heading to a new life in Europe by way of Latin America.

I'm having a very emo day 🥹 it's the Sunday of queer Christmas (pride weekend in Taiwan), I'm gearing up for another week in the office, but I cannot move on from a weekend like this one without giving their flowers to the people who lately, have made my life so much brighter.

The 2024 Pride weekend has been my favorite pride to date, maybe it's because I've been living my queerness out in the open for almost 8 years now, and this pride has felt like a culmination of those 8 years, I'm engaged to being gay married to my fiancé @nicotoself, our life lately has been made of new hopes and project for our common future and it's been stressful, but always extremely fulfilling.

Or maybe it's because I feel so incredibly grateful for the love I receive and the love I can give to my friends, new or old, queer or not (but mostly queer), they love me and I love them back ten folds.

This might just be another one of these incredible weekends I'll look back to in my old fag years, but today feels special and different, I've never felt so authentically myself, and I've never felt so authentically loved before, and so to everyone who's made me feel like this, like I don't have to compromise who I am in order to be appreciated, thank YOU 💜

And to those who lately have made me feel small, to those who are still looking in the year of our Gaga 2024, for the Léo that was closeted, someone I wouldn't recognize today, someone who was so miserable... Good luck finding him, the bitch is DEAD...

Four whole weeks have passed and it's time to say goodbye 🫂 it's been such a lovely time having my moms come by for a proper Taiwan 環島.
Having a chance to really showcase this country to my mom, 6 years since she last came, has been a blessing, it gave me a chance to see my home under a new light and through fresh eyes.

This has been great for my relationship with my mom too, it's our first extended trip together since my coming out to her and since she retired earlier this year, I found that our relationship has deepened, has become more intentional, she knows who I really am now, my queerness and queer culture is something I'd never imagine she'd get to experience firsthand, but @bouncybabs made it so that we got a chance to truly bond over the art of drag, I'd like to thank her again for this opportunity, it will have changed our relationship forever. And my mom is now going to recap Drag Race France S03 to me once a week.

I think we're all starting this pride month with a new outlook on life, our past, present and future, and I'm so happy that 2024 has given me so many good memories with the woman that has singlehandedly raised me to become the proud gay man I am today, the funniest woman I know, happy Pride month everyone 🏳️‍🌈💖 by @leocxbasira
