as my grandmother’s dementia progresses, i’ve been reborn as a stranger in her mind. in the face of this disease, i’ve found a deeper appreciation for the act of reflection. revisiting memories, both heartwarming and bittersweet, is something i’ve always taken for granted. memory is subjective, yes. however, this year unequivocally created the most special memories of my life so far. a year of self exploration, incredible friendships, and letting old habits die hard. it’s difficult to believe this life is merely a fraction of a what is to come.

I'm having a very emo day 🥹 it's the Sunday of queer Christmas (pride weekend in Taiwan), I'm gearing up for another week in the office, but I cannot move on from a weekend like this one without giving their flowers to the people who lately, have made my life so much brighter. The 2024 Pride weekend has been my favorite pride to date, maybe it's because I've been living my queerness out in the open for almost 8 years now, and this pride has felt like a culmination of those 8 years, I'm engaged to being gay married to my fiancé @nicotoself, our life lately has been made of new hopes and project for our common future and it's been stressful, but always extremely fulfilling. Or maybe it's because I feel so incredibly grateful for the love I receive and the love I can give to my friends, new or old, queer or not (but mostly queer), they love me and I love them back ten folds. This might just be another one of these incredible weekends I'll look back to in my old fag years, but today feels special and different, I've never felt so authentically myself, and I've never felt so authentically loved before, and so to everyone who's made me feel like this, like I don't have to compromise who I am in order to be appreciated, thank YOU 💜 And to those who lately have made me feel small, to those who are still looking in the year of our Gaga 2024, for the Léo that was closeted, someone I wouldn't recognize today, someone who was so miserable... Good luck finding him, the bitch is DEAD... Long live the QUEERS 🏳️‍🌈💞

The past 1,5 months have been rough. What started as a simple wisdom tooth extraction turned into a complete madness.. Fevers for 3 weeks Thyroid pains 2 ER visits and overall 22 days in hospital 7 different kinds of antibiotics 3 biopsies & 4 sonographies All I can say is, having bacteria in your blood is no joke. That being said, the way people showed up for me during this time was out of this world.
