Nationals 2026 🇺🇸

Hard one out here in Virginia for my final race of the season in the National Championship. Not my best racing at this one, finishing 37th and falling back for most of the race. There was a lot to learn here, and I will adapt and come back much stronger next season, just as I have each year.

Thank you for all the support this whole year from @oldtownbicycleco and @one4nine.cc , as well as to my parents and people helping me back home all season! taken in Roanoke, Virginia by @leogutierrezmtb

Soho UCI ❤️‍🔥

Caught a glimpse of greatness for a sec 😅
Pretty stoked with how I rode this weekend in Utah! Spent most of the XCO race in the top 10 but dropped back near the end for 19th place. I will gladly take this result and give myself some more UCI points before heading to nationals in a couple of weeks. Felt on form, just some minor adjustments are needed to stay in there.
The XCC race also went good, with a 13th place and also staying in the mix for most of it.
Thank you to my support from @oldtownbicycleco for keeping my bike fresh and to @one4nine.cc for having me rock some sweet kits for my races 🔥 taken in Soldier Hollow, Midway UT by @leogutierrezmtb

Late Canada Cup Post 🇨🇦 🤒

Well my racing in Canada didn't go the way I expected it to this year, but we learn from what we can. I struggled all week with the cold weather and slippery conditions, but that is something I will adapt to next time.
I finished the C1 xco in 35th place, and had a big crash in the Jr Series xco, luckily only resulting in a mild-concussion. I was able to get back to training pretty quickly and I am hoping to do better this weekend in Utah. Thank you to @oldtownbicycleco for always having my bike ready and feeling great at these races, and to my parents for bringing me out time and time again.

Little mid season break from racing this past month, in preparation for the final stretch of a great season 🍁🏔

We have a trip up north this week for the Canmore Canada Cup UCI, then Soldier Hallow UCI in Utah shortly after. Been feeling great and hope to show some good form at those two, stacking up some more points!

Socal League 5: Finals 🥹

That's a wrap for my high school racing career! It was a great way to end it with another 1st place, ending my senior year with 3 varsity wins. I really never thought I would be able to do this when I started racing the Socal League in 6th grade. I would watch the varsity boys race and saw them as superheroes in my eyes, dreaming that I would one day get the chance to be up there and maybe even get a win. I dealt with lots of health struggles and set backs during my freshman and sophomore years. In the end, I overcame all of that and got very close to winning my junior year, which drove me to work harder than ever for this year, where I would finally make it happen.
I want to thank my team @greatoakmtbteam for all the support over the years as well as the whole @socalleague for giving us these memories and great races. by @leogutierrezmtb

Vail Lake US Pro Cup UCI ☁️🤑

10th place at my home UCI race! Stoked to put on a great performance today at the UCI Junior Series race in Temecula. Was able to work my way to the top 10 from a 7th row start and grab a handful of UCI points for the world rankings!🤙🏼
Won't sit on this for too long, as I hope to carry this form onto the rest of the season using these points.
Next is my final Socal League race tomorrow at Keysville, CA, hoping to cap off a great weekend!

SoCal League #4: Victory at Vail ⚔️🏆

Another varsity win!👊🏼
So stoked to pull this off🥇 I had to dig deep at the end, after a last-lap crash. I was able to push the pace early while staying composed and when things got tough at the end, both physically and mentally, I was able to stay strong.
.
Huge thank you to my team @greatoakmtbteam for the support all season long and for making these races so special.

Arkansas UCI Junior Series 💣❕️

This one really opened my eyes to what I have hoped for coming into this season. Started off patient and made passes and was able to make my way up little by little each lap. By lap 5 of 6, I was running top 20, which is my best ever in a UCI race, and unfortunately had a rear flat which ended my race. Bummed to be 0-2 in UCI races this year, but atleast this time I was able to show the form that I am on for as long as it lasted. Hopefully I can finally start to gain points this year at my home race in Vail Lake next!

Socal League 3: Cachuma 🌳 🪨
4th place this weekend at another high school race at Lake Cachuma! Can't say this was my best racing, but still happy to take another podium and keep the series going. I will be keeping my 2nd place spot in the series overall heading into the final 2 races of this championship. Huge thanks to my team @greatoakmtbteam for such a fun weekend and to everyone who was a part of it! Thank you to @oldtownbicycleco as well, for keeping my bike running so good every race.

🇵🇷

I've had my fair share of adversity in this sport, but I've come back every time. I've learned to not dwell on the lows and just look around at the beauty of it all.
