Entertainingly deceptive from the first beat, @lerm_ofc titular “Something I Want” cleverly builds over a minimalist percussive frame, incorporating a more muscular supporting structure with every passing bar before unleashing a growling low-end pulse.

Slowly, the floodgates begin to open, and a myriad of effervescent effects surge through the mix, washing over the irresistible groove as they leave behind a tangy, acidic flavor in their wake.

Meanwhile, a sultry vocal flourish embellishes our path forward before a clear-cut break in the system allows for tension to build up before one last joyous release.

Serving as the perfect complement, follow-up “Apologise” explores a stranger side of the road, without compromising allure as a thumping groove treads over restless percussion and gritty stabs. With the foundations in place, LERM amps the energy with soul-charged vocals and gated chords that rummage unchecked through the piece, creating a most riveting coalition of sounds that come together in an eclectic séance to burn the past away.

A highly detailed declaration of intent, this vibrant EP is a bold introduction that hints at an artist equally at home in the shadows as he is in the light.

This time we bring together two artists from different corners of Europe for a split EP that moves between hypnotic late-night grooves and darker peak-time energy.

Opening the release, Vini Pistori delivers Freestyle Brain, a deep and rolling track built around a steady 16th-note bassline, organic shakers, and atmospheric leads. Playful stabby chords drift through the arrangement, creating a hypnotic flow that feels made for the later hours on the dance floor.

On the second half, Hungarian artist LERM returns to Amaeo after appearing on the very first To Be Discovered compilation back in 2023. Feel Alright leans into a darker and more driving direction, combining snappy synths, tom-heavy grooves, and glitchy textures with soft male vocals repeating “you make me feel so right, you make my head spin.” The result is a track full of tension and movement, aimed at the more intense moments of a set.

The two productions connect through their hypnotic energy, textured atmospheres, and groove-focused approach.
