Entertainingly deceptive from the first beat, @lerm_ofc titular “Something I Want” cleverly builds over a minimalist percussive frame, incorporating a more muscular supporting structure with every passing bar before unleashing a growling low-end pulse.

Slowly, the floodgates begin to open, and a myriad of effervescent effects surge through the mix, washing over the irresistible groove as they leave behind a tangy, acidic flavor in their wake.

Meanwhile, a sultry vocal flourish embellishes our path forward before a clear-cut break in the system allows for tension to build up before one last joyous release.

Serving as the perfect complement, follow-up “Apologise” explores a stranger side of the road, without compromising allure as a thumping groove treads over restless percussion and gritty stabs. With the foundations in place, LERM amps the energy with soul-charged vocals and gated chords that rummage unchecked through the piece, creating a most riveting coalition of sounds that come together in an eclectic séance to burn the past away.
