Les Dames d'Escoffier Cleveland is the Cleveland chapter of Les Dames d'Escoffier International.

I visited the Fidelity Hotel in Downtown Cleveland for the Sante Supper Club, where chef Gabriella Rosa presented Her Table, a dinner series built around her style of cooking and storytelling. It is a shared dining experience where she designs the entire menu herself, drawing on memory, technique and seasonal ingredients, with each course reflecting her point of view as a chef rather than a traditional restaurant format.

Rosa went on to The Culinary Institute of America, where she graduated in 2014. After graduation, she moved to California to work at the Michelin-starred restaurant All Spice under chef Sachin Chopra. Two years later, she returned to Cleveland, and shortly after, Good Vibe Pies emerged as her next chapter in food.

Good Vibe Pies is a Cleveland-based food business focused on handmade pies and baked goods available for pickup and delivery. The work is small-batch and personal, built around seasonal ingredients and a direct connection to the people ordering it. It extends her cooking beyond restaurant spaces and into everyday homes across the city.

I have ordered from her many times for home delivery, and every time the food arrives with consistency and care. She is a kind and creative chef whose work is grounded, personal and consistently thoughtful.

Thursday, June 4th. Chef Gabriella Rosa is cooking at @fidelityhotelcleveland for a special collab with @sante.supperclub and @lesdamescle

Les Dames d’Escoffier Cleveland is a community of women chefs, restaurateurs, food writers, and culinary professionals who have spent careers building something real in an industry that often makes that harder than it should be. This dinner honors them.

The menu is a conversation between food and memory. Oysters with smoked tomato. Cannolis that taste like family. Pasta made for the person sitting next to you. Dessert that feels like showing up at someone’s kitchen table uninvited and being welcomed anyway.

Les Dames d'Escoffier Cleveland Chapter proudly champions women entrepreneurs who are creating meaningful change in their communities through small business. We have successfully hosted two Pitch Competitions in Northeast Ohio, with fundraising efforts directly fueling the growth and impact of these inspiring women-led ventures. Our 2023 winners, Carmella Williams, Mariel Bernarte, and Tina Chamoun embody the spirit of determination and resilience, each demonstrating remarkable tenacity as they create the next generation of impressive businesses.
