What’s up family, it was truly an honor and so much fun interviewing #Pitbull. I attached a small portion of the interview. There is so much more to him than just music. This guy has a heart to serve people and even started a school for underprivileged children.

Interview is up for one more day.

What is life?! 🥲 This week, I had the honor of being one of three recipients of CBMC’s Salt & Light Award. I’m grateful to use my God-given gifts to serve others!

To everyone who has poured into me, loved me, or cheered me on, this honor is yours, too.

To God be the glory! 🙏🏾 #Vertical taken in National Cowboy & Western Heritage Museum by @lesthomas.sr

My guy! Mr @lesthomas.sr @lesgopokes on the podcast. Talking all things. Cowboy football. Hype man of hope and the most important. Les’s lack of humility when it comes to cooking! 🤠

Had the pleasure of speaking today at the Oklahoma Partnership for Expanded Learning (OPEL) event at TCC West!

Today’s conversation focused on the important role educators play in our communities and how they can help us build and strengthen the pipeline of future healthcare professionals. By introducing students to new possibilities early, connecting them with mentors, and creating hands-on opportunities, educators can help students begin seeing themselves in careers they may have never considered.

It was also great to hear from other speakers throughout the day, including Tristy Fryer, OPEL Afterschool & OST State Lead, and Les Thomas Sr., the “Hype Man of Hope.”

Thank you to OPEL and TCC West for bringing educators and community leaders together to share ideas, build connections, and continue creating opportunities for Oklahoma students.

Want to help us introduce more students to healthcare careers? Send Youth Medical Mentorship a message to learn how you, your school, or your organization can get involved.

Today, my mother, my first mentor, would have turned 79. To understand who I am, you have to know who she was. There is no Les Thomas as you know him without her.

They say you die twice. Once when you take your last breath, and again the last time someone speaks your name. As long as I live, Linda Thomas’ name will stay alive.

Happy heavenly birthday, Momma. Your love still shapes me, and your legacy lives through many. ❤️

I guess you could say… this is a Heisman moment. 🏆😂🧡

I’ve been featured in magazines, on the front page of newspapers, and on TV… but I’ve never been on the cover of a magazine. It’s a Momma-made-it moment!🙏🏽🥲 I value every moment and will never take it for granted!

Les Thomas grew up carrying both potential and problems. Thankfully, someone in his life focused on his potential instead of the problem.

Now, when he sits across from a young person who's carrying real problems, he holds onto the same truth: amongst every problem is potential.

He's not interested in adding fuel to an already hard situation. He wants to bring water.

"You want me to build a house, but I don't even have a foundation. I got popsicle sticks." - @lesthomas.sr

Les grew up in a neighborhood where about only 5 out of 200 homes had a dad present. He's done hearing "pull yourself up by your bootstraps" from people who never asked if he had the tools to begin with.

There's a reason the Big Bad Wolf couldn't blow down the house built on a real foundation. Tools and opportunity matter. Foundation matters.
