A reminder I’ve been needing myself:
Choose something you love.
I’ve spent parts of this year carrying more tension than I’d like.

Life doesn’t suddenly become free of challenges because we choose joy.
But we can choose where we place our energy.
For me, art has always been that place. A way back to beauty, presence and possibility.

A little hello from the studio.
From a very camera shy me!

Life isn’t always perfectly styled behind the scenes. Between the mess, the making, the ideas that work and the ones I’m dreaming of, I’ve been building towards a new body of work and a small exhibition.

It’s exciting, a little daunting, and exactly where I need to be.

AFTER DARK. AND ON THE MENU. 🍸

It's the weekend... a perfectly chilled martini, something delicious to eat and a little jazz playing in the background. 🎺 Absolutely no reason to check the time. Settle in and stay awhile.

We love the art of entertaining at home. Especially when it's less about impressing people and more about simply enjoying their company.

Celebrating gestural hand painterly and original artworks. Crafted from love of colour, passion of unexpected moments, various texture, layers of stories and my deep love of nature.

The original works seen here are mixed media and framed by the incredible @caseframes are available to view until the end of this week in person at the main reception of St Hilda’s Mosman Park WA, and again from 12 October - December 4th.

From the archives ✨
Long before I thought about returning to wearable art, there was this.
An early collection created from my original illustrations and textile designs, photographed here at a runway show many years ago.
Looking back, it’s interesting to see how many of the things I’m still drawn to were already there — bold colour, pattern, layering, storytelling and the idea of artwork moving beyond the wall.
My practice has taken plenty of turns since then, through photography, art, illustration and design, but lately I’ve found myself circling back to textiles and wearable pieces again.
Maybe creativity isn’t always about reinventing yourself. Sometimes it’s about rediscovering the threads that were there all along.
