AFTER DARK. AND ON THE MENU. 🍸

It's the weekend... a perfectly chilled martini, something delicious to eat and a little jazz playing in the background. 🎺 Absolutely no reason to check the time. Settle in and stay awhile.

We love the art of entertaining at home. Especially when it's less about impressing people and more about simply enjoying their company.

For Edition Three: THE CORNER BOOTH, we've invited stylist Dimity McKenna @dimity_mckenna and photographer Letitia Green @letitiagreen_photography to share their take on entertaining after dark ✨ And it's just 🤌😚 you'll adore it ❤️

Think candlelight, beautiful things rediscovered at the back of the cupboard, delicious little bites and a few clever styling tricks. A gorgeous reminder for us all, that a fabulous evening doesn't have to be a complicated one.

Comment BOOTH and we'll lead the way ♡ or you can browse via link in bio at any time 🏹

Original painting titled Gathering Light.

1200mm x 910mm mixed media. Box timber Framed available exclusively to view @st_hildagram “Artist on Show” exhibition or via DM for more info.

Layered botanical forms unfold through bold
colour and expressive brushwork, evoking memories of wild gardens and warm
climates. Balancing abstraction with hints of nature, the painting celebrates growth,
imagination and the joy found in moments of vibrant, untamed beauty.

This and a curated collection of original artworks are available to view at St Hilda’s Perth reception gallery area as the current Artist On Show.

From the archives ✨
Long before I thought about returning to wearable art, there was this.
An early collection created from my original illustrations and textile designs, photographed here at a runway show many years ago.
Looking back, it’s interesting to see how many of the things I’m still drawn to were already there — bold colour, pattern, layering, storytelling and the idea of artwork moving beyond the wall.
My practice has taken plenty of turns since then, through photography, art, illustration and design, but lately I’ve found myself circling back to textiles and wearable pieces again.
Maybe creativity isn’t always about reinventing yourself. Sometimes it’s about rediscovering the threads that were there all along.
A little glimpse of where it began — and perhaps where I’m heading next.

Art. Time to hand craft, illustrate, paint and get lost amongst the creation process. As an old school designer/ illustrator/ photographer - (all round creative) it is hard to see our creations being replaced by ai and platforms like Canva etc where design knowledge and design skills are completely obsolete!

Loving the fact hand drawn and original art is making a comeback. Here are a few little works and sketches to a little mockup at the end of my original art as a product for a pitch.

When I was a full time illustrator I had the pleasure of working with some iconic brands, and hand lettering would literally be created with a pen on paper first. #illustrator #handdrawn #visualartist #illustration #letitiagreenstudio
