swim

THERE WERE NO SHARKS (at cultus lake)!!!!!!!! 🤣
(or maybe there are, but i didnt see one last Sunday lol)

very chaotic
felt smooth for most of it
seeded myself way back and had a hard time passing/dodging people

t1

wetsuit decided to not to have a smooth transition woops

t1 again

obv i took my time here 😅

bike + t2

no bike vids for obvious reasons
views were very nice
song in my head: i just can't wait to be king

sadly very slow on the flats 😅
felt like i couldve been more efficient with some bike tweaks (i.e., increasing saddle height, buying a new bike 🤪)
apparently i feel stronger on the hills LOL

t2 + run

thought i could maintain a good pace for the run but ended up doing a mid pace with my HR recently being off lol just powered through!! got a good precision 90 gel tho 🫶🏼🤪

run

didnt know that it was already the end of the run LOL
still smiling at the finish line 🫶🏼

First time Father goose watched my tri race! 🫶🏼

gorgeous & very chilly morning!! very inspired by the elites who raced before us 🤩

triathlouise & cathy-bara race ready!! 😎

the crazy tri-o & our fave MEGA G 🥹💖

i love triathlon i love everything about it

notes from the race bec why not:
preswin: cheering all the queens racing!!!!
swim: brutal & fun. felt like an elite where everyone started at the same time. waves were high (but not as crazy as the ironman in cebu). there was a big chunk of kelp after the second buoy. tho wish i did train more OWS but i avoided it lol
t1: i was feeling dizzy and couldnt run straight. thought i was gonna pass out HAHA
bike: need to work on my turns & mega g says i need to work on using the drop bars! but overall amazing feeling !!!
t2: lol i took my time
run: made a wrong turn to the finish line so had to turn & celebrating too early. & as usual i forgot to do a sprint finish, i was just feeling so happy 🤣

apparently kids love my number!!!
