Last Wednesday, I had the honor of hosting Women’s Night at @letsbanya. It was centered on letting go, making space, and conserving our energy for what matters most.

Through reflection, the sauna, cold plunge, and a burning ritual, we explored what we’re ready to release, what restores us, and what we want to make more room for this season.

A reminder that sometimes caring for ourselves means loosening our grip, allowing ourselves to be supported, and letting go of what we no longer need to carry.

Video 2 of our new series - this time, @letsbanya for a guys night!

Perfect weather to soak up the heat in the sauna, then cool down with a quick dip in the cold plunge. All while connecting with other guys who were all there for the same reason - reset, recovery and socialize.

Amazing job by Ivo (@dr_beewell) to coordinate the event and getting everyone talking.

Got to try out fascia stretching with @ak_fst and my hips are thanking me today.

Loved connecting with new people & looking forward to the next one!

When was the last time you did something just because it made you feel ALIVE? 🔥

Not because it was productive. Not because it was on your to-do list. Just because it felt really, really good to be there.

Laughing with friends. Talking to strangers. Trying something new. Losing track of time.

We spend so much of our lives trying to fit everything in. Maybe it’s time to make more room for the things that make life feel full.

You can’t add more days to your life, but you can add more life to your days.

HEAT & BEATS 🔥🧊🎶

Man, this was special.

I’ve spent the last few years thinking a lot about what wellness actually looks like when you bring it out of the treatment room, out of the gym, out of the yoga studio, and put it where it belongs…

With PEOPLE.

Heat & Beats felt like that idea coming to life.

We breathed together. We did yoga. We hit the sauna and cold plunge. We had bodywork. We ate good food. We met new people, had real conversations, connected…

And then, yes…

WE FUCKING RAVED. 😂🔥

Hundreds of people moving through @letsbanya , experiencing wellness in completely different ways, and eventually ending up on the same dance floor together.

That’s my kind of wellness.

I’m incredibly grateful to everyone who trusted me and joined me in bringing the wellness side of this thing to life.

One of my favorite parts of Dr. BeeWell has always been bringing good people together.

People who care about their craft. People who care about helping others feel better. People who might be doing completely different things but share the belief that wellness can be social, fun, weird, loud, quiet, sweaty, uncomfortable, joyful and HUMAN.

I think we got a little glimpse of what’s possible when you put all of those people in the same place.

Thank you to everyone who said yes and came along for the ride.

I think we need to do that again.

WE’RE HIRING: Part-Time Saunatender 🔥

This is a great job for you if you genuinely like people.

You’re the kind of person who remembers someone’s name. You notice when a first-timer looks a little lost. You can make conversation with pretty much anyone. You like being part of a community, but you’re also not afraid to grab a squeegee, fold some towels, refill some ice, or jump into whatever needs doing.

We’re looking for someone who:
• genuinely enjoys hospitality and making people feel welcome
• is comfortable talking to strangers and getting to know regulars
• can multitask and stay grounded when things get busy
• is reliable, hands-on, and willing to clean
• is comfortable with computers, tablets, and learning new systems
• thinks spending their shift around saunas, cold plunges, and a bunch of interesting humans sounds pretty great

This is a part-time front desk Saunatender position at Banya in Portsmouth, with weekend availability needed.

For Westival’s 10-year anniversary, we’re doing something special: kicking off the day with a wellness event that brings even more West End businesses into the celebration! ❤️

Join us Saturday, October 3, from 10 AM–12 PM at West End Yards. We’ll start with a 5K led by @peakeastcoast , then head into a Pilates class with Anna from @formfitnessstudio and fitness challenges with @atxfitnesstherapy.

Afterward, @letsbanya will open its doors for cold plunge and sauna recovery.

A Nor’easter forecast calls for a cozy New England bathhouse trip and ramen dinner ♨️🍜

We recently checked out @letsbanya in @portsnh for the ultimate rainy day getaway from Boston. This bathhouse is extremely clean, cozy, and friendly from the moment you walk in. We liked the saunas, tolerated the cold plunges, and LOVED the hot tub.

The perfect dinner to cap it off is at the @theramenclub_nh.

Rain or shine - you’ll have a good time. Also, Portsmouth is such a scenic place to wander, eat, and shop this fall.

WESTIVAL IS BACK 🎉

We’re celebrating 10 YEARS of Westival on Saturday, September 26 at West End Yards in Portsmouth!

Westival is all about celebrating Portsmouth’s West End, bringing the community together, supporting local businesses, and giving back to the Seacoast.

This year, we’re kicking things off with a Wellness Morning from 10AM–12PM. Starting with a short run/walk to wake up with @peakeastcoast, a workout class with @formfitnessstudio and @atxfitnesstherapy and wrapping up with a recovery with @letsbanya. Followed by the main Westival event from 12–5PM with live music, food, local businesses, family activities, a bouncy house, and plenty more.

And just like always, Westival isn’t about making money. Food stays affordable, the community comes first, and the goal is to raise money for a great local cause.

Last year was our biggest Westival yet, and this year we’re going even bigger for the 10-year anniversary.

Women’s Night is a different type of night out. #letsbanya

GRLS BEING GRLS will be facilitating an authentic relating experience centered around how we connect with ourselves and with other women.

Because even around other women, we can find ourselves performing. Saying the right thing. Wondering how we’re being perceived. Holding back parts of ourselves.

Tonight is a chance to put some of that down.

There’s no particular way you need to show up. Come as you are, connect at your own pace, sauna, cold plunge, and spend an evening actually being together.

And because connection is better with snacks, @ohanatakeout will be joining us with healthy food for the evening.

Come alone or bring your girls. You don’t need to know anyone to belong in the room.
