Last Wednesday, I had the honor of hosting Women’s Night at @letsbanya. It was centered on letting go, making space, and conserving our energy for what matters most.

Through reflection, the sauna, cold plunge, and a burning ritual, we explored what we’re ready to release, what restores us, and what we want to make more room for this season.

A reminder that sometimes caring for ourselves means loosening our grip, allowing ourselves to be supported, and letting go of what we no longer need to carry.

Grateful for the women who showed up, shared, and made space for one another.

Video 2 of our new series - this time, @letsbanya for a guys night!

Perfect weather to soak up the heat in the sauna, then cool down with a quick dip in the cold plunge. All while connecting with other guys who were all there for the same reason - reset, recovery and socialize.

Amazing job by Ivo (@dr_beewell) to coordinate the event and getting everyone talking.

Got to try out fascia stretching with @ak_fst and my hips are thanking me today.

Loved connecting with new people & looking forward to the next one!

HEAT & BEATS 🔥🧊🎶

Man, this was special.

I’ve spent the last few years thinking a lot about what wellness actually looks like when you bring it out of the treatment room, out of the gym, out of the yoga studio, and put it where it belongs…

With PEOPLE.

Heat & Beats felt like that idea coming to life.

We breathed together. We did yoga. We hit the sauna and cold plunge. We had bodywork. We ate good food. We met new people, had real conversations, connected…

And then, yes…

WE FUCKING RAVED. 😂🔥

Hundreds of people moving through @letsbanya , experiencing wellness in completely different ways, and eventually ending up on the same dance floor together.

That’s my kind of wellness.

I’m incredibly grateful to everyone who trusted me and joined me in bringing the wellness side of this thing to life.

One of my favorite parts of Dr. BeeWell has always been bringing good people together.

People who care about their craft. People who care about helping others feel better. People who might be doing completely different things but share the belief that wellness can be social, fun, weird, loud, quiet, sweaty, uncomfortable, joyful and HUMAN.

I think we got a little glimpse of what’s possible when you put all of those people in the same place.

Thank you to everyone who said yes and came along for the ride.

I think we need to do that again.

Oct 13 - heading back to @letsbanya for a mens only night hosted by @dr_beewell. Sauna, cold plunge, hot tub, & connect with good people.

Oct 18 - 60 minute walk & socialize with @seacoastwalkclub downtown Portsmouth.

Oct 20 - Taco Tuesday at @locococostacos because who doesn’t love tacos and I haven’t been yet.

Oct 30 - live music at @thirstymooseportsmouth basement. The Mockingbirds are playing at 9 pm, it’s been a while since I’ve been.

Nov 5 - trying out a spin class at @swetstudios (let’s see what all the hype is about)

Saturday mornings spent on wellness are unmatched 🧡

We kicked off Westival with a morning of movement, wellness community right here in the West End of Portsmouth.

@peakeastcoast started the morning with a 5K— afterwards, we were so stoked to host Pilates on the patio with @formfitnessstudio and serve up some delicious Turmeric Pumpkin, Pineapple Mango, and Iron (Wo)man smoothies for everyone! Plus, fitness challenges by @atxfitnesstherapy and a cold plunge with our neighbors at @letsbanya to finish it all off.

Thanks to everyone who came out, moved with us & helped us kick off Westival feeling GOOD 💪

October is packed with ways to soak, sweat, gather and get cozy across New England, New York and beyond. From Aufguss and community sauna nights to new bathhouses, special events and a few Badii happenings of our own, there’s plenty to explore.

For the 10th annual Westival, we’re bringing West End businesses together for a morning of movement, recovery, and community, with Laney & Lu as the hub for it all! ❤️

We’ll gather at Laney & Lu at West End Yards on Saturday, October 3, at 10 AM before heading into the wellness lineup:

🏃 A 5K led by @peakeastcoast
🧘 Pilates with @formfitnessstudio
💪 Fitness challenges with @atxfitnesstherapy
🧊 Cold plunge and sauna recovery at Banya

And because they know we’ll need to refuel, Laney & Lu is treating everyone who participates in the wellness event to a free protein smoothie. Big thanks to Jennifer Wilder and the Laney & Lu team for helping make this celebration of West End businesses happen!

The wellness event runs 10 AM–12 PM, followed by Westival from 12–5 PM with live music, local food and drinks, and a full afternoon supporting @gather.nh .

RSVP through the Strava link, or just show up at 10 AM if you don’t have Strava. Planning to use Banya? Bring a towel and a change of clothes so you can stick around for the rest of Westival!

For Westival’s 10-year anniversary, we’re doing something special: kicking off the day with a wellness event that brings even more West End businesses into the celebration! ❤️

Camp She Flows 🌕🏕️

As one retreat participant put it, this retreat was “pure alchemy” ✨ and it genuinely was thanks to the authentic energy of the retreaters, nourishment of farm-to-table meals, and spaciousness to just be, create, and play.

A Nor’easter forecast calls for a cozy New England bathhouse trip and ramen dinner ♨️🍜

We recently checked out @letsbanya in @portsnh for the ultimate rainy day getaway from Boston. This bathhouse is extremely clean, cozy, and friendly from the moment you walk in. We liked the saunas, tolerated the cold plunges, and LOVED the hot tub.

The perfect dinner to cap it off is at the @theramenclub_nh.

Rain or shine - you’ll have a good time. Also, Portsmouth is such a scenic place to wander, eat, and shop this fall.

WESTIVAL IS BACK 🎉

We’re celebrating 10 YEARS of Westival on Saturday, September 26 at West End Yards in Portsmouth!

Westival is all about celebrating Portsmouth’s West End, bringing the community together, supporting local businesses, and giving back to the Seacoast.

This year, we’re kicking things off with a Wellness Morning from 10AM–12PM. Starting with a short run/walk to wake up with @peakeastcoast, a workout class with @formfitnessstudio and @atxfitnesstherapy and wrapping up with a recovery with @letsbanya. Followed by the main Westival event from 12–5PM with live music, food, local businesses, family activities, a bouncy house, and plenty more.

And just like always, Westival isn’t about making money. Food stays affordable, the community comes first, and the goal is to raise money for a great local cause.

Last year was our biggest Westival yet, and this year we’re going even bigger for the 10-year anniversary.
