Sweet July 💓💓💓 by @letsbelove

When I was 19, I was in a serious car accident. My roommate and I were on our way to a music festival when we got cut off in the fast lane going about 75 mph. We swerved off the road, overcorrected, shot back across three lanes of traffic, hit head-on, and rolled five times.

I have a self-proclaimed terrible memory, but I remember every moment of that crash like it was happening in slow motion. I remember the violent whiplash when we hit the ground, and the way my head got tossed around like a bobblehead with each roll.

Miraculously, I walked away without a scratch, but the impact left behind lasting neck injuries I wouldn’t fully understand until years later. Throw in a growing obsession with handstands and hours at a desk job, and neck/shoulder tension has become a regular companion.

These are just a few tools I reach for when I need to release: my @dharmayogawheel and a set of massage balls I grabbed off Amazon.

Fascia work has been a game changer.
Fascia is the body’s connective tissue web—it wraps around and supports your muscles, organs, and joints. When it’s tight or restricted, it can cause pain, stiffness, and limit your range of motion. Working with fascia helps melt away tension, restore fluid movement, and create more space in your body.

It’s one of the most overlooked and understudied systems in the body—and one of the most important for how we move, feel, and live in our bodies. by @letsbelove

Hi friends 👋🏼
I’m emerging. Re-awakening. Feeling alll the vibes of springs sweet yet gentle motivations.
I moved back to Colorado and this view is now my sanctuary and daily place of practice.
I am so. so. so. Grateful.
Here’s a little 25 min spinal fluid flossy flow condensed into 1 minute. Gotta feed the algo beast.
I felt this one out after a struggle strength sesh with my girl @madelainerascan. Ended with some nadi shodhana and dog kisses, of course.

Wishing you a graceful awakening from winter. Hope you can feel these energizing spring-y vibes

2 months till I never have to leave you again by @letsbelove

Some questions I prompted in savasana last night to remember why and how we use yoga as a tool for becoming a well rounded individual and not just to access pretty shapes.

1) How fully do you love?
2) Does your love come with conditions?
3) Do you live in and make decisions based out of fear?
4) What is the equanimity of your life? Can you allow yourself to have fun AND work hard, and not beat yourself up either way?
5) How easily do you let go of things that no longer serve you?
6) Can you love all the past versions of yourself, even the ones you’re not proud of?
7) Do you give yourself and those around you Grace if or when you mess up?
8) Do you nourish your body and life with clean ingredients?
9) Do you know your boundaries and do you uphold them even when it’s hard?
10) Do you keep a curious and teachable spirit?
11) How are your relationships?
12) Do you have goals and do you actively work towards them in a healthy manner?
13) What thoughts come up when you see someone who is “farther ahead in life” or outperforming you?
14) How quickly do you judge someone who isn’t as far along or “beneath” you?
15) Do you notice your triggers and reflect on why they’re there?

These are just some of the things we come to yoga to introspect and do the work. Are you actively reflecting on your life and how you live it? by @letsbelove
