🎥 From Zero to Over 58,000 Students: My Skillshare Journey 🎥

A few years ago, I never imagined I’d be here—teaching thousands of students worldwide, sharing my passion for filmmaking and storytelling. But here I am, and I wanted to take a moment to share my journey with you.

When I started teaching on Skillshare, I was just finding my feet as a videographer. I had no formal education in filmmaking, just a camera, a lot of trial and error, and a burning desire to create and teach.

My first Skillshare class wasn’t perfect. I was figuring out how to teach and create structured courses from scratch, using minimal gear and shooting in a tiny space. But I pressed "upload" anyway, and to my surprise, students began enrolling.
Slowly but surely, one class became two, and then more.

Fast-forward to today:
✅ Over 38,000 students have taken my classes.
✅ Most of my classes have 1,000+ students enrolled.
✅ I’m now a Top Teacher on Skillshare, sharing everything from filmmaking, Video Editing and so much more.
✅ Skillshare has become a major source of income and a fulfilling way to help others grow creatively.

This journey hasn’t been without challenges, but each step taught me resilience and the value of simply starting, even when things aren’t perfect.

💡 To my friends: If you’re curious about teaching online, content creation, or the world of filmmaking, I’m happy to chat or share tips.

Our little boy, Aryaan, arrived on 28 June. 💙

We’re a little late sharing the news, but we’ve been soaking up these first precious weeks together.

The start of our journey didn’t go quite as we imagined. Aryaan had to stay in the hospital because of an infection, but seeing him recover so quickly and being able to hold him with fewer and fewer wires attached was the best feeling.

Coming home together felt like a dream. Unfortunately, our hospital chapter isn’t over just yet, as I’m still recovering from an infection after my C-section. But despite the unexpected start, we’ve been enjoying every cuddle, smile and little moment together.

The days are flying by and we’re enjoying every minute of this precious new chapter in our lives.

Our greatest adventure has just begun. ✨ by @letscreateonline

Baby is not here yet, so we still have time to post these. 😏 A few weeks ago, Adi crossed the finish line of his Half Ironman!

Of course, these days are extra special for the Ironmen, but also for the supporters. Following the race, tracking where they are and trying to catch them at the right spots is almost a sport in itself.

Honestly, doing all of that pregnant was a bit of a challenge, but luckily my parents were there to help me get around and keep me company throughout the day.

And I had a little achievement of my own: I recorded my highest step count and burned the most calories of my entire pregnancy. All on just a few hours of sleep. 😅

So happy I got to be there and see Adi cross the finish line. 😍

9 months ago, I signed up for my first Ironman 70.3. 🔥

It was one of the scariest things I had committed to in a long time. I couldn’t swim more than 10 meters in the pool and I knew there was a lot to learn.

The journey wasn’t smooth. There were injuries, setbacks, self-doubt and many moments of wondering if I could really do it. Two months before race day, I finally felt ready. Then I injured my knee from doing too much too quickly, and up until a week before the race, I wasn’t sure if I would even be able to finish.

On race day, the goal was simple: stay calm in the swim, make the cutoff, and keep moving.

And somehow, I did.

I’m proud to have finished my first Ironman 70.3, but even more grateful for everything I learned about the sport, the process and myself along the way.

First Ironman 70.3 ✅

Now, time to prepare for our future little Ironman… no pressure. 😉
