Last day at Ella....

1. The room where I did not stay, but tea tree resort has such a pretty duplex room...
2. Chanaka was very kind and responsive..
E. Sundari akka was very humble and very very sweet.. can u believe that she is a mom of 4 grown up adults!!!
4. Ravana falls, due to time constraints i could not take a bath there as we were late already and heading towards Mirissa
5. The Ravana falls
6 to 11 - u and me, a small restaurant on the way to Mirissa.. damn the food was too good... Spicy, hot and srilankan food...
12 to 13 - some random shop on the highway towards Mirissa, they had different types of fanta and sodas!!
14. Swimming in the tea tree resort pool..

Biggest learning for 2026 : Never miss a girl trip❤️

60 seconds of VARKALA with my girls!!

Finally I can say that I do have friends!!!

With the right tribe, even your worries are sorted and buried!!!

August last weekend did magic!!

I was hesitant to go for this trip due to various reasons but the moment these girls started discussing about wearing bikini I got excited and it was a last minute decision to join them.

Now the question - did i wear bikini?? Actually no, i could not wear my bikini because my red cycle planned to visit me during my trip but the fun that we had was more memorable than missing wearing my bikini..

Will i wear it in the future - ofcourse yes!!!
Will i post it on my social media - ofcourse yes but in a more modest way... 🤣🤣🤣

Ravana cave!!!
On the way to Mirissa from Ella, we visited the Ravana Cave!!

It is believed that Sita maa was first kept here immediately after abduction and also this is the place where Ravana used to do tapas!!

The climb to the cave was pretty short. The view of the little Adam's peak from this mountain was very beautiful!!!

The cutting down of the eucalyptus trees made the path less scary and I was twinning with nature there with my dress color!!

A mom and her 2 sons hesitated to go inside the cave as there was no one, and upon seeing me and my guide they were confident to go forward.

The cave was pitch black with bats everywhere. The foul smell of the bats emanated further into the cave!! By the time we reached the cave, we had other visitors as well, so we did not feel like we were the only ones out there!!

A must visit place for anyone who is drawn to Ramayanam!!

NINE ARCH BRIDGE ELLA

“Bridge in the Sky”—is one of Sri Lanka’s most iconic and photographed landmarks.
Built during the British colonial era and completed around 1921, the bridge is a remarkable feat of engineering. It's a marvel.

It was constructed almost entirely using stone, brick, and cement—without steel, largely due to material shortages during World War I. Stretching about 91 metres in length and rising 24 metres above the ground, the bridge still carries trains daily, making it not just a historical monument but a living piece of heritage.

The orange liqueur is something to try for when you visit this place!!

The first pic was taken from a mountain, my friend and photographer climbed the mountain to click this pic of mine!! I was lucky enough to not have people around me at that time and it's simply magical!!! ❤️
