Always late to share but I’m no less proud of this one! <3
This activation was a wholly collaborative endeavor with the amazing folks at @parkproductionhouse PARK and earned a Silver Anvil at this years Anvil Awards!

Created for CrossIron Mills’ spring 2025 campaign, what started with a single tote bag illustration turned into an expansive activation.

This included a stampable postcard complete with custom stamps and copy, an interactive tabletop map, a kids’ sensory map table featuring laser-cut landmarks and sliding pieces, event signage, and the tote bag. I designed the tote inspired by local land and animals, evolving the visuals into a mid-century/Googie style with pastels, patterns, and type to connect into the road trip aesthetic.
Swipe to see some cuties holding their award!

What a hoot! 2025 marks the 50th anniversary of Owl’s Nest Books! Early this spring I had the pleasure of illustrating two designs and coming up with a playful headline for their celebration.

One is made up a series of owls representing different literary genres. The other is a sweet depiction of the charming Owls Nest Books storefront in Brittania.

If you love our 50th Anniversary totes, tees, stickers, and buttons as much as we do, we thought it was time to introduce you to the creator! Nesters, meet Chelsey Dyer (@letter.buck), a Calgary-based graphic designer and AuArts graduate. 🖋️

We can’t thank her enough for her incredible creativity and for crafting the most owl-riffic merch to help us celebrate our 50th bash!

A little re-cap of my process for my mega-chilled out icy penguin mural with @yycbump Road Works!

I say “little” not more than 10 times but it sure feels like it.

Trust the process, trust the process, trust the process! 🎨 🚧 Behind the scenes of my Road Works murals coming together over the last couple weeks of April. Highlights include: my assistant Peter hard at work, thrifted coveralls, and a wildlife surprise.

Btw prepare to be sick of me posting about these 🙈
