If ever there was a trend for us to do…we’re sure you’ve seen a few of these on your timeline so we wanted to join in on the fun. We had such fun imagining LetThemSeeCake in a Wes Anderson film. When we first opened the shop we had a few comments saying the decor looked very Wes inspired! With that in mind.. we thought

Feast your eyes on these autumn treats 😍

Our seasonal cakes will only be on the counter for the next month or so, so if any of them tickle your fancy we reckon you should pop right down here to try a slice 🍰

We rotate them on the counter throughout the week, but you might see:

Which one are you excited to try? 😋

IT'S OUR 6TH BIRTHDAY 🎈🎂

Pop in and see us today to celebrate, there may be some cheeky FREE CAKE involved 🤭

We’re so grateful for all your support over the last 6 years which has allowed us to keep going & growing in Victoria Park 🌳 Here’s to the next 6! 🎉

Swipe to learn 6 things about Let Them See Cake >

1. Before LTSC opened, did you know Gareth used to run a cake school? Hosting events like pudding club (with star guests from the Bake Off), and childrens & adults cake workshops 🍰

2. LTSC as you see today started out in covid, with Gareth & Ryan selling treat boxes for delivery during lockdown. You all loved them so much that we decided to open our physical store and we’ve since grown to 15 members of staff 👩🏽‍🍳

3. We moved our kitchen from the back of the shop over to a separate unit space, enabling us to produce more cakes! It was hard work - far away, expensive overheads, and a lot of back-and-forth (now, we have our bakery just upstairs!) 🧁

4. The shop was so beautiful that we decided people should be able to sit in it. So we expanded into a cafe and launched our unique brunch and afternoon tea, with service in both English and Welsh 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁷󠁬󠁳󠁿

5. We were on the BBC! Our mini docu-series Hot Cakes was a global phenomenon, topping charts and smashing records worldwide 😎 Sadly, no further series were commissioned, and so our TV career went down the pan. Instagram stories is Gareth’s stage now.

6. We make up to 60 celebration cakes per week, on top of all our counter treats and wholesale orders - that’s a LOT of eggs 🥚 taken in Let Them See Cake by @letthemseecake
