“I can not control the wind, but I can adjust my sails.”

Took a senior trip to the Abacos to do a little bit of sailing and relaxation. Something about getting the full sails up and having nowhere to be, reach’s a true vacation. It’s always great to go explore the ocean and even more in great company. taken in Sailing by @levi.layton1

“What lies behind us, and what lies before us are small matters compared to what lies within us.” - Ralph Waldo Emerson

Thank you Central High School, for my journey as a student. I will be forever thankful for every moment, every memory, late night, and early morning dedicated to learning, laughing, and being in community. Each lesson learned whether about a subject or about life will always hold value to me. I am thankful for the teachers that have poured into me, the administration, counselors and media specialist who have helped me succeed, and for my freinds who encouraged me and were there every step of the way. Once a lion always a lion! taken in Central High School by @levi.layton1

“AT WHAT COST?
-At what cost are you willing to come out stronger and become better?
-At what cost will you strive towards your goals
-At what cost will you show others the love, mercy, and kindness extended to each of us?

At what cost will you show that to someone else?” - Levi Layton

Georgia FFA, thank you for the impact you have made on me throughout the last 7 years. If I look at the person I was walking into my first Ag class as a 6th grade student, the growth, lessons, knowledge I have learned has truly shaped who I have become. Thank you for being a family and a community to me.

Getting the opportunity to serve as the 2025-2026 State Secretary has been the excperince of a lifetime. Serving the over 80,000 members was more than an honor. From every chapter visit, conference, convention and everything else along the way, has left a lasting memory to which I will cherish.

To my teammates, Remiya, Leyton, Quinn, Evan, Aly, Jose, and Anna Grace. I love each and every one of you. One year ago we ran up that stage and made each other family. I could not have asked for a better group to surround myself with. Every laugh, deep conversation, cry, or group hug was worth everything. Our time in the blue jacket may have been hung up but what we have built with each other never will. There are not enough words for me to tell you all what you mean to me!

To my Mr. Lastly and Mrs. Sahagun, thank you for believing in us and pouring into the team and I with everything you have! You have truly transformed us as leaders and individuals. I will always value the lessons that you teach us, and the family that we all have!

To my Ag teachers, thank you for seeing potential in me, and pushing me further than I thought I would ever go. Oftentimes, we would set the bar high, but yall would raise it higher, because you knew we could do it. A handshake and a hug comes no where near the thank you that yall deserve.

Georgia FFA, if you believe in something run towards it. If I could leave with one peice of advice, it is the biggest regret you will ever have is not trying. So don’t let there be regret. Try everything and pour your whole, heart and mind into everything you! by @levi.layton1

“If you always do what you’ve always done, you will always get what you’ve always got.” -Henry Ford

Just a few more days until I graduate from CHS. It’s crazy how time will fly, memories will be made, and it is gone in the blink of an eye. So in honor of ending and era here is some senior pics. taken in The Finish Line by @levi.layton1

“Your wings already exist, all you have to do is fly.”

Senior prom 2026 was great! We flew a group to a
Steakhouse right on a runway in north Atlanta and turned around and flew back for all of the senior prom activities. taken in The Sky by @levi.layton1

“Every moment in our lives is a miracle we should enjoy instead of ignoring” - Yoko Ono

Here is a little bit of life to catch up on in the squares on your screen. What a honor it was to celebrate National FFA Week, lead our final conference as state officers, and just enjoy the moment in everything we do in between. Definitely racking the miles up on a car but every inch is worth the journey.

… the final picture is how we feel about nearing the end of senior year. taken in Georgia by @levi.layton1

“If you can’t live longer, live deeper” - an old Italian proverb

Experienced Italy for several days with the family, traveling to Venice to begin the trip, and hitting Rome, on our way south to sorento. Along the trip we enjoyed some amazing food, views, and time together. The history and architecture in Italy is quite astonishing, in how long it has lasted, and been preserved. Where do we travel next? taken in Italy by @levi.layton1

“Every day might not be good, but find the good in everyday.” - Alice Morse Earle

That’s a wrap on 2025. So many memories that came throughout the year. From traveling all over, to being elected as the Georgia FFA State Secretary, to flying everywhere, what I find in the midst is thankfulness. I am thankful for every opportunity I this year, thankful for everyone that has been placed in my life, thankful for the ability to explore, adventure, and to live. As the quote says we may not have the perfect day all 365 days, but there will always be a joy or positive in everyone. Make sure to find that in everyday, because each on is a gift.

Senior year has flown by, but you have to enjoy it while it is here. It seems as if one chapter of life will close soon, but another will begin.

“It’s never to late to be who you might have been.” - George Elliot

National Covention 2025
I got to the opportunity to be one of Georgia’s 31 National FFA Delegates. Took the opportunity to lead and better the FFA for years to come. I am extremely thankful to not only catch up with old friends from all over, but to also make new ones along the way. They say life is truly about who you know, and I am blessed for the community of people I do have. We made great memories and left with fulfillment in our cups!

“You are the sum of the people you surround yourself with” - Somebody

As we hit the half way mark of our year of service as the 2025-2026 Georgia FFA State office team, I reflect on all of the joy, growth, and memories I have formed with this team. I am incredibly grateful to be surrounded with some of the best teamates and the best people. Without a doubt has been the best 6 months and am excited to see how we become even better.
