Day Two in Roseto degli Abruzzi… ☀️ 👟

Team Tandem sets the intentions for our upcoming workshops, dives head first into the data, and sneaks in a siesta. Additionally, many pasta dishes, pages read, gelato scoops, and tarot readings.

Did you really expect anything else? 📚 🍨

Day One in Roseto 🩴📚

Every year for the last five years Team Tandem have descended on Roseto degli Abruzzi, Italy for a few days of brainstorming in the sunshine, all with the aim of reconnecting with our global team and stiring up the magic for the year ahead.

Keep your eyes peeled for Day Two which involves workshops, coffee, breakfast, coffee, pasta for dinner, workshops, coffee, and gelato. What more do you want?

Come to work with me…

…as a freelance creative campaign manager. 💻

This day was fuelled by the Shaken Vanilla Bean Iced Soy Latte from Blank St. My current all-day every-day craving.

Not your average day in the life, but a day in my life all the same.

Spook-tober! 💻✨🖤🥹💀💻

September and October are such busy months, almost every year; I don’t know why it surprises me. 🤯

This month I’ve simultaneously been chained to the desk and running out to events like a headless chicken, AND getting to grips with that 2026 is going to look like. 🤓

Hope your month has been smooth sailing 🖤

At the media screening for #RegrettingYouMovie 💕✨

Ahead of this weekend’s box office opening, I attended the media screening on behalf of @TandemCollectiveUK / @TandemCollectiveCulture alongside @AmazonPublishing team and #AmazonPublishingCreatorUK bookish creators.

Having read the book earlier in the week, I was pleased to see that so many of the details have been kept for the big screen; no major changes to the adaptation!

For fans of an emotional drama with a touch of girlie-pop, with content warnings for parental loss, grief, infidelity, sex and relationships.

A Team Tandem Book Recommendation 📚💕

“This was a really interesting read as it tapped into elements we see at play in our professional lives everyday; ‘compulsive busyness, perfectionism, people-pleasing, anxiety, overthinking’, etc. Realising where all of that stems from is enlightening and this book provides both the soft guidance and the structured frameworks to challenge our own patterns. I’d recommend this book, for sure.” - @LexBrookman, Project Manager.

Is it time for you to take action over your own trauma? This title feels super accessible, so could be a great place to start.

The Wilbur Smith Adventure Writing Prize ⛰️

I recently attended the awards ceremony for the Adventure Writing Prize supported by the Wilbur & Niso Smith Foundation, in celebration of brilliant ‘adventure’ fiction and I had a blast.

The biggest takeaway for me was the enjoyment of seeing cross-genre shortlists, and that ‘adventure’ can be interpreted in so many amazing ways. Whether we’re racing across the desert in search of revenge, or climbing back through the pages of history - an adventure is a brilliantly told story, and I was so stoked to be surrounded by so many all evening.

Huge congratulations to the ‘Best Published Novel’ winner, Costanza Casati! 🎉

May the odds be ever in your favour… 😉

The next @Fit_Yard_ games has been announced, and if you were thinking about getting your game on, now’s your chance.

Get your mates together for a whirlwind test session across strength, endurance and functional fitness.

Think you and your pals have got what it takes? Grab the link in the Fit Yard bio. ✅

Never thought I’d be singing the praises of a local gym, but I love the classes and the coaches are brilliant - did you know your girl could deadlift? 💁

Maybe see you there? 💪 taken in Lynsted by @lexbrookman
