dark out after 7 pm has officially started and this is the best after i could get at 730 at night lol

this process took me 6 hours & came with a large ticket price as well.
✨✨✨
this is not your standard appointment, this is a full transformation, a consultation is required beforehand. almost every strand of her hair was put into a foil & took me around 3 hours to do so. but the results are stunning. she is literally a new woman & we’re bringing her back to her most confident blonde self, one appointment at a time. ⭐️💋🦋 she loves her new hair & my back still hurts 🤣 but i truly love doing transformations and wouldn’t change it for the world.

also- she was using a professional permanent color to do her roots before. her hair actually had no red deposited into it & the red you’re seeing in her before is her natural underlying pigment because her last hairstylist wasn’t using a tone in her formula to counteract that since she wanted to be a warm tone. (she shared the formula with me)

so that is what makes her transformation at all possible in one session !!! i’m thankful her hair lifted of course but it’s all about the science and what’s been put on the hair before.

for my formula - i used @wellaeducation & started by doing my full highlight placement. i started in the back , baby sliced the whole thing basically & then went back in & applied her roots & mid formula. (koleston perfect in shade 7/18 with 30 vol to lift up her level 3 root into a dark blonde.) i then tipped out a lot of her ends and watched it carefully. using 10 & 13 volume with wella blondor plex & mixed it with free lights because that is my favorite formula for blonding as of recently :)

i did one side section of her hair in the same way & rinsed the back. then did the other side section and then let everything process & rinsed it all together. it’s about the timing too because this is hard to do by yourself with no assistant lol

anyways that’s the process and i’m proud of myself lol - she also has very curly hair & her curls still looked so beautiful before we blowdried ✨✨✨♥️♥️♥️
