POSTS STORIES REELS TAGGED

There’s a moment on a wedding morning when everything starts to feel very real.

Makeup is almost finished. Hair is done. The dress is waiting. Someone is checking the time. And suddenly, all of the anticipation of the day ahead can find its way into your body before you’ve even realized it.

We were doing Sarra’s final touch-ups when I noticed she had stopped breathing.

I didn’t need to interrupt the moment or ask if she was okay. I just quietly exhaled with her.

And then -

“I was definitely not breathing… I didn’t even realize.”

One big inhale. One long exhale. And then we both laughed.

It was such a small exchange, but these are the moments I think about when I talk about the experience of having someone with you who has spent her career alongside brides as they get ready for their wedding day.

You learn to notice things.

When someone needs a little reassurance. When she needs a moment of quiet. When the energy in the room has shifted. When it’s time to keep things moving - and sometimes, when a bride simply needs a reminder to breathe.

None of that is technically part of applying makeup.

But to me, it has always been part of taking care of the person sitting in my chair.💕

(And don’t worry - before I posted I made sure I got approval from Sarra to share this quiet moment ☺️)

If you dare to dream you can create and design a beautiful life ☀️

Mūni quickly became more than I could have ever imagined. Creating this salon came unexpectedly and wasn’t something I had been planning for but I learned that is when the magic really happens.

The vision was simple and the meaning of the name helped navigate that. Mūni - meaning renewal and rebirth - helped drive the vision of a space that everyone is welcome and encouraged to celebrate their authentic selves. A space of love, support, passion, encouragement and a whole lotta joy.

I am only one small part of this story. My incredible team of stylists helped cultivate this vision. I am grateful, humble and just so proud of them 🥹♥️ They are incredible women who have taken every challenge and opportunity to grow.. not just as stylists but as people and most importantly as a team ♥️

My stylists @sydsshears @lexeebeauty @paintedby.amanda @hey_itsyourhairgirl and every single guest who has walked in our door is a part of what makes the Mūni community shine so bright ✨ I’m just truly so grateful ♥️

There’s a reason you don’t see me sharing full bridal makeup applications.

Wedding mornings can be incredibly personal. There are conversations shared in my chair, emotions that surface unexpectedly, quiet moments between all the excitement, and exchanges with the people you love that were never meant to become content.

Being invited into that space is something I’ve always treated with care.

So while I love capturing the finishing touches - the lip, body glow, the last adjustments, and the moment you see everything come together in the mirror - I’m intentional about how much of our time together I film.

It allows me to stay present with you, but just as importantly, it allows parts of your morning to simply belong to you.

Because the experience in my chair isn’t only about creating beautiful makeup. It’s about respecting the experience surrounding it, too.💕

An “elegant garden party” was the inspiration. But her skin, features and the way she wanted to feel were what actually shaped the makeup.

Sarra shared with me that acne scarring and larger pores were her biggest concerns. In the past, she felt makeup could emphasize the texture she was trying to minimize - a concern I hear often from clients who have experienced heavy makeup in the past.

Instead, we kept the complexion lighter where her skin allowed and strategically added fuller coverage only where she needed it. Because creating beautiful skin isn’t about covering every inch of the face with the same amount of product. It’s knowing where to use more - and where not to.

For color, we brought in warm rose tones across the eyes, cheeks and lips. They complemented her hair and eye color while subtly pulling in the floral, garden-inspired feeling of the wedding without making the makeup feel themed.

The result was soft, polished and intentionally her - with enough presence to complement the simplicity of her gown while still allowing her to feel like herself.

This is why customized bridal makeup goes so much further than choosing a reference photo. Your skin, your features, your concerns, your dress, your setting and how you want to feel all become part of the final look.

Beauty customized for you.💕

Old Hollywood - interpreted for her.

The inspiration was timeless glamour, but the goal was never to recreate a look from another era. It was to take the elements she loved - softly defined eyes, polished skin, elegant structure - and translate them into bridal makeup that still felt natural, modern and unmistakably her.

No red lip required. No heavy contour. No drama for the sake of drama.

Just thoughtful, customized artistry that gave a nod to Old Hollywood while enhancing the features that already make her beautiful.

Because inspiration should always be the starting point - not a formula.

For brides drawn to soft glam and natural bridal makeup, the goal is always to take the inspiration you love and make it feel completely your own.

I did this one for you, Cheeks ❤️

For you. For all kids across the spectrum. For their families. For a place where every child can feel safe, accepted, included, and free to simply be themselves.

Camp Want To Go Again is SO incredibly special. Knowing that what we did can help support a camp that gives kids a place to have fun, make friends, feel safe, and just be kids means more to me than I can ever explain.

Being able to unite fashion with a cause that hits so close to home is something I am incredibly proud of. And knowing that our beautiful team at The Autism Project raised, I believe, around $4,000 makes my heart even fuller. ❤️
For our first show all together , with only 40 guest , I'm SO proud of us and can't wait for next year .

I also cannot thank these incredible women enough for supporting me and showing up for my first show that I had the honor of HEADING hair & makeup for. You trusted me, supported me, and helped make this experience something I will never forget. @chelsea.e.fontes @singerbeautyllc
@lexeebeauty
@beautiedbyhailey @danielleperrybeauty

This was bigger than hair and makeup.
Bigger than fashion.
It was about creating a space where kids can feel like they belong.

THANK YOU Theresa for believing in me . I can't wait for all the years to come for us and this event .

This one was for you, Levi. Always. ❤️
