Why take wedding photos anywhere else when you can take them in your cow pasture?

Make photos feel like YOU, do something that makes sense and creates photos you LOVE.

Huge shoutout to @nohavaranch , @bryannohava , @lexijordheimnohava for their hospitality and showing me around their beautiful property! by @lexinohava

A picture perfect 4th of July weekend with very few photos to share — we were just present in the sunshine, off our phones, making memories with our little fam and celebrating this life we share. Thankful, thankful, thankful!! ☺️🧨 by @lexinohava

This is the place! 🕊️

We live on the homestead my ancestors settled on when they came over from Norway. I am the 6th generation to live here — the last baby boy brought home here was my grandfather, and then 85 years later… our boy! My grandfather grew up here with no running water or electricity. Their home, the outhouse, chicken coop, windmill, and barns were burned and have been farmed over for the last 20+ years. We’ve found several things in the dirt from old car parts to a silver baby spoon, inevitably used by my grandfather and his siblings.

We brought everything in to live here again; electricity, a well, a road, etc. It’s something new learned every day, but there is nothing better than this view, and the connection to our land! This is where our little family will grow, where we hope many generations of kids play in the dirt, and where we’ll grow old together. I hope to mother from a similar perspective of all the mothers before me, lots of outdoor play, dirt under everyone’s fingernails, independent exploration of our grounds, and responsibility of animals, gardens, and miscellaneous farm chores. Man, does it feel special to be here! 🤍 by @lexinohava
