I am so thrilled to announce that I have accepted a full-time reporter position at WWLP 22 News in Springfield, Massachusetts!

A huge thank you to all my colleagues and mentors at WTNH for guiding me in the right direction. Four years ago, I walked into the newsroom for the first time to be interviewed about my music. I then completed two internships and was offered a job on the assignment desk as just a junior in college. News 8 made me fall in love with this field and I am so grateful to have over a year and a half’s worth of professional experience before receiving a diploma.

To my teachers at Southern Connecticut State University, I am so thankful for all that you have instilled in me. Thank you for helping to set the foundation of my journalism career.

I am so excited to begin this next chapter after graduation!

You would have been turning 21 years old today. Instead, you’ll forever be 16. You were the sun and now the world has no light without you. I love you. I miss you. Happy birthday Eilyn. 💜🦋 by @lexiwhiteee
