A new outbreak of Cyclospora, the microscopic parasite capable of giving people intestinal illness, is now under investigation by the FDA. I spoke with local officials about the extra precautions you should take when eating produce products.

My Lexi girl is a graduate!! I have been in awe watching her juggle her senior year, working at @wtnh8 and signing her fifth record deal!! All of your hard work paid off as you walked across that stage today. Lex, I’m so proud of you and will forever be cheering you on! You really are like a little sister to me and I feel so lucky to get to be a small part of the amazing story you’re just beginning to write 🤩 you’re a star.

Lexi White, I am going to miss your smiling face in the newsroom of WTNH News 8 but I'll always have this memory of you and me dancing at The Greater New Haven Puerto Rican Day Festival on the New Haven Green 🥰

Gearing up for Memorial Day weekend on Channel 8! 🇺🇸🧀📺 Today was such a fun day at WTNH News 8 filming two nacho segments for the holiday weekend 🙌

On Good Morning Connecticut, I made Red, White & Blueberry Dessert Nachos 🍓🫐, a kid-friendly, no-bake treat with cinnamon sugar pita chips, vanilla ice cream, berries, coconut, whipped cream, and white chocolate drizzle.

Then on CT Buzz, I made Red, White & Burger Nachos 🍔, a backyard barbecue-inspired nacho with blue corn tortilla chips, chopped cheeseburgers, pico de gallo, white onion, pickles, shredded lettuce, and secret sauce.

Here are a few behind-the-scenes pics. Had a blast with Natasha on CT Buzz, and loved catching up with Gil, Alyssa, and Brittany on Good Morning Connecticut. 🙌 Congrats, Lexi! 🎉

Check out the blog on my website for the full recipes, and you can also find the preorder link for my debut cookbook, Totally Nachrageous, there too! The official national release day is August 25, and I seriously cannot wait. 🧀📘✨

Such a fun way to kick off Memorial Day weekend. Cheers! 🇺🇸📺

My Springfield friends! You have a good one coming to your TV! Our sweet Lexi has been working so hard to finish school at @southernscsu while also working in our News 8 newsroom. SUCH a hard-worker! Now, I’m so excited to see her start her FIRST on-air job at a station I also worked at and loved so much! Look for her on @wwlp22news starting in June and show her some love! (She’s also a talented singer!) Rising star for sure! Go get em @lexiwhitee! We are so proud of you🌟💛 #westernMa #Connecticut #singer #reporter #news @wtnh8 @nexstarmediagroupinc
