this is so special to us as we were inspired by the film festival the previous year to make a micro short for the following year and here we are.

⭐️my beautiful creative people i’m over the moon to announce that a little micro short i directed this summer has been selected by the Short is Beautiful Film Festival !!!! ⭐️

making this micro short was so much fun and the creative women i worked with on this film are talented and determined beyond words.

this is the first festival i have submitted to and i can’t wait to attend the screening with all the lovely girls that have worked so hard to create this project.

i had the pleasure of being production and costume designer for a micro short film called “sewn” ˋˏ✄┈┈┈┈

the goal was to transform a traditional white wedding dress into a beautiful whimsical garment using a range of pastel fabrics and ribbons. i also worked with fabric spray paints to dye the material. despite being nervous, i am really proud with how the dress has turned out as this is my first time being able to experiment in costume design. ˋˏ✄┈┈┈┈

yesterday i had the opportunity to see the work produced by lots of talented artists and creatives at @herefordarts. these are photos i took whilst exploring the degree show private view!! ♡

i also participated in the event by performing in the fine art installation by @katiealiceart. it was an amazing moment to celebrate the many collaborations we completed throughout her project! ♡

for our showcase @metfilmschool @wearemetstudios , we fixed parts of the theatre from our set build by painting the walls and cardboard where some of the paint came off :)
