I don’t talk much about lawyering lately. Family law can be disheartening — soul-sucking, most days.

Tonight reminded me why I do this. Two texts from mentors I deeply respect: my first two adoption appeals, both trial court verdicts AFFIRMED.

Three children now have real stability — free from guilt, drama, harm. A mother and father who will fight for their safety, always.

The rule of law stood true. The good guys won.

Justice prevailed today, and it feels incredible to be an attorney. ❤️🙏🏻⚖️

A new country breathed its beauty into me like a first love — unfamiliar, luminous, and a little terrifying. I arrived carrying the quiet trembling of a woman alone in the unknown, whispering to herself, I am not an artist, I do not belong here. And then I walked through a door, and my whole nervous system exhaled.

What unfolded was nothing short of sacred.

@artofliferetreats @katiewhiteartist @casafuzetta — you did not simply offer a retreat. You offered a homecoming I did not know I had been searching for. Within those walls, fifteen women from the scattered corners of this wide world gathered, and without preamble or pretense, we became something tender and true. We supported. We laughed. We loved — with the immediacy of people who have always known each other, and the grace of those meeting for the very first time.

Olhão. Even your name feels like a poem on the tongue, though my pronunciation will never be quite right! No words I possess are worthy of you, no photograph wide enough to hold the full wonder of what I felt there.

And then my beloved @im_aliciab, with the glorious spontaneity of a true kindred spirit, swept in from Nice. Forty-eight hours in Lisbon. Every hour soaked in laughter, every street walked like a love letter to being alive and free and together.

The world, taken whole, can feel like too much to carry. But shared — with those rare and radiant souls who understand the holiness of a pause — it becomes something close to breathtaking.

From the deepest chamber of my heart: thank you. 🙏🏻

4 years. 2 college graduations. 1 high school graduation. 2 upcoming moves away from the nest to Tulsa & NYC…

1,460 days since we saw that smile & heard that laugh.

Not what we chose but living life as he did, big, loud & full of love.

Number 2 Undergraduate is a wrap….short break to attend PGA Championship then report 1st day at Southern Hills GC as Assistant Superintendent in Training. 💙🧡. The dedication, professionalism in class & at work, and your truly inspiring moral compass & faith are to be commended & I wish replicated….the world needs more Evan Safi’s.

He had a great reason to not focus on his education & building a future but he didn’t feel sorry for himself, he made his daddy and myself humbled & honored to be his proud parents.

I am honored to share that I have graduated from Leadership Oklahoma as a member of Class 38.

What an incredible experience alongside 47 exceptional Oklahomans whom I am proud to now call friends, colleagues, and allies. Through every conversation, community visit, challenge, and opportunity, this class demonstrated a deep commitment to leadership, service, and the future of our state.

Class 38 truly earned the title of “Toughest Class Ever.” I am grateful for the relationships built, the perspectives gained, and the opportunity to learn from some of the very best leaders across Oklahoma.

Thank you to everyone who helped make this journey so meaningful. I look forward to continuing to serve alongside this remarkable group of leaders for years to come.
