Big goal this year has been trying new hairstyles which I must admit is painful for a perfectionist because they always look a little off. But lmk if you have other ideas to try 😇 by @lfroats

So much to be sad about and so much to be grateful for ... Really makes you think ... by @lfroats

After we said goodbye to Pontouf at the end of April, we joked with our other two pets that they'd need to wait at least six months to give us time to process and grieve. Kita apparently didn't get the memo — we said goodbye to her today in our living room after she enjoyed some Taco Bell and McDonald's in her final week. Bone cancer did her in the way it does with so many other large dogs (especially Rottweilers), and she fought it hard until the end. She was a reactive, challenging dog most of her life, but the way we saw her from the moment we met at the shelter was a beautiful, sensitive, emotional, and tender animal. She asked a lot of us but gave us so, so much back. She was playful and sweet as much as she was nervous and anxious. We are so grateful to the people in our lives who "got it" and helped us give her a life that was soft, supportive, and full of love — because she deserved nothing less. by @lfroats

After thirteen years, we said goodbye to Pontouf today. There's so much to say, so many stories to tell, so many pictures to share, so much love yet to give, and she will never, ever, ever be replaced. If you want to take a walk down memory lane you can pop over to #pontoufsittingonthings for some of our earliest exploits (way back when we actually used hashtags on here). She was loved and will be loved forever. 💫 by @lfroats

I have a goal to sew (at least) six garments this year ... We'll count this as number one even though it's more of an accessory. I learned if you sew something with a lining you get to hide all your ugly seams inside 🙂‍↕️✨ #mmaudrey by @lfroats

Man if you know the last year Sam and I had, you know how this deck means so much more than just a new deck 🫠😮‍💨 So thankful to have the means to get this done and so thankful to not worry that Chewy deliveries might smash a hole straight through 🥰 by @lfroats
