My time as an intern at Lionsbridge has come to an end, and I am so grateful for ever minute of it.

To the lads, thank you for everything, for every kind word and message. There is no one else I would rather spend my days photographing. I will miss those bus ride conversations and karaoke sessions.

To the interns and staff, thank you for being the most amazing group of people. Y'all never failed to make me laugh, and I am so glad I got to spend my summer with each of you.

To the fans, thank you for making my job easy. I never had to look far to find a smiling face to photograph. There is a reason we say we have the best fans in the league.

And finally, to Mike and Tammy, thank you for taking a chance on me. I have grown and learned so much. Turns out I was right. The map to the perfect internship led right to Lionsbridge.

At 5:19 pm Shelby crossed the rainbow bridge in my arms wrapped in her favorite pink blanket. Shelby was truly my soulmate. Without her I wouldn't be here, she was there with me through the darkest parts of my life. My little shoulder to cry on. We had 14 beautiful years together filled with so much joy, love, and laughter.

When I walked into that rescue and saw you I knew you were mine. We picked each other that day. I will miss the jingle your collar would make and you run into my arms. I will miss your dancing to "El Taxi" by pitbull, I will miss stretching with you, but most of all I will miss your companionship. I will miss coming home to you after a long day. I will miss sitting next to you and watching the Red Sox. I will miss the cuddles.

I will never forget you my little shadow.

And until we meet again, may God hold you in the palm of his hand. by @lgi0434
