Nothing like a little fall foliage with a vb by @lhummrich
In-person review of @lhummrich’s ’23 VB! Hopefully that launch clip at the beginning got your attention, because Leo’s car is no slouch. Making around 360whp and 424 lb-ft of torque on 93, this thing feels seriously stout. What makes it even better is that it’s a relatively simple bolt-on setup, featuring a Perrin top-mount intercooler, AEM intake, UEL headers, and an I-pipe-back exhaust. And the sound? Honestly, it’s fantastic. The UEL headers give it that classic Subaru rumble without the rasp. Far too often, UEL setups on the FA engines end up sounding raspy, but that’s definitely not the case here. Leo’s put together one solid VB! by @lhummrich

What do yall think @exzackt_ cobb launch control Or my Atlas @wrx_2_hard launch control by @lhummrich
Sucks to be so close, yet still feel so far from where I want to be. Sometimes I look at this car and see everything I’ve accomplished. Other times, all I can see is how much further I still have to go. What started as a simple goal of building a fast street car has turned into something bigger than I ever anticipated. Countless hours, late nights, setbacks, broken parts, money spent, lessons learned, and more frustration than I could ever put into words. And even after all of that, I’m still not satisfied. Not because I don’t appreciate how far this build has come, but because I know what it’s capable of. I have a vision for this car that I haven’t quite brought to life yet, and being able to see that potential without fully realizing it is frustrating. The closer I get, the more I realize just how much work is left to do. Every time I feel like I’m turning a corner, something else reminds me that progress is rarely a straight line. But I guess that’s what separates simply owning something from building something you’re genuinely proud of. I didn’t come this far just to settle for almost. There’s still a lot left to prove, a lot left to learn, and a lot more to accomplish. 787whp wasn’t the finish line. It was just another milestone. The vision hasn’t changed. The timeline has. @bonestockvb | Bonestock Builds 🦴 by @lhummrich

Nothing like being going out with the homie in a forza lobby. #wrx #subaru #vb by @lhummrich
Any other vb owners in north carolina. If you are wanting to be part of this community let me know. We have a community of people to help with issues, organize meets, trade parts, and just talk cars. No gatekeeping of any kind. If that is something that interest you reach out. by @lhummrich
Some more pictures from Thursday’s shenanigans! by @lhummrich
There’s something special about getting to share the experience of a high-power VB with another Subaru owner. 😎 I actually didn’t tell him I switched anything — we were originally on Map 1 (around 600whp) and I just rolled into it like a normal pull. Midway through, I quietly switched over to Map 3 — about 700whp — and let the car do the talking. The difference hits instantly. What starts as a familiar pull suddenly turns into something else entirely, and you can feel the exact moment the car wakes up and keeps pulling harder than expected. 😂 That split-second reaction from the passenger when they realize it’s not the same setup anymore never gets old. Building the car is one thing. Getting to surprise other enthusiasts with it is a whole different kind of fun. 700whp surprise passenger reactions are always a good time. 🤝💨 by @lhummrich
One of the best parts about being a Subaru owner is the community that comes with it. These cars have a way of bringing people together from completely different walks of life, all connected by the same passion for building, driving, and enjoying them. I was stoked to spend a good part of the day with my buddy Leo, getting some shots of the cars together, cruising around, talking builds, and just enjoying the day. Of course, we may have managed to get into—and back out of—a little harmless mischief along the way. 😂 Good cars, good people, great memories. Days like this are a reminder that the build is only part of the experience. The people you meet along the way are what make it even better. What a day. 🤝🔥 by @lhummrich
