A floating bubble in Hoboken is actually me shooting a video through a divot hole in the bus window. Read about how this fascination began at @ericfirestonegallery and continued to a bus in Hoboken and the 42nd Street subway station on my weekly Substack (link in bio and stories) #unintentionalart #bulletholes #divotphotos by @liadefeo

I am so lucky that no matter what life brings my way, I have @theflowerguy by my side. Many years ago, on one of our first dates, near (but not on) Valentine’s Day, he brought me a single red rose. This week he did the same. His magical artist network got us into @fauxnewyork_ (which I almost walked right by before spotting the trash cans outside). It might be the hottest reservation in town, but inside the staffers were warm and welcoming and the food was out of this world. The steak frites was 10/10 —perfectly cooked with salty fries (like I like them) and a delicious sauce. 10/10

PS: @fauxnewyork_ I have a merch idea for you—black hoodies spray painted with pink “faux”. I’ll be your first customer. by @liadefeo

Congrats to my friend @kmainenti on her #deadhorsebeauty exhibition. I’m feeling proud to be both the enabler of vessel collecting & her honorary on- location photographer. Art Gowanus also featured work by @miskamagic whose photos of Floyd Bennet Field I immediately recognized and added to my collection. I also loved the new silk screen work by @jenprops and Carolina is now the proud owner of a silly banana by @hibyetiles Thank you to @sean_qualls for taking the time to share the stories behind his fantastic books—the storytelling, illustrations, and history in Fros, Fades and Braids and to sign a copy to Carolina. Congrats to all 🎨#artgowanus #I❤️NY by @liadefeo
