TITANÍQUE opened last night, and I am feeling so much LORVE 💙 So happy and grateful to be part of this kooky crazy company as the music assistant. Special thank you to @geoffreyhko for bringing me onto the team for my broadway debut (!!!), and @northwesterntheatre / @ryantodd for connecting us! Also shoutout to copyist extraordinaires @wildnickers and @arigoldhelz, and AMD superstar @goldiegolden65 for being amazing collaborators. And @nicholasconnell you are phenomenal! Super grateful to my friends and fam, and of course @eza.aze for all the support!! SHALL WE GO FOR IT? 🚢⚓️✌🏻 by @libby.hatton

@basuramusical closes today, and I’m yelling “HAPPY TRAILS, SO PROUD OF YOU!!” to the band, cast, and crew over the 900 miles between here and Atlanta. I am so grateful to have helped tell this story as the music assistant alongside such a committed, generous, and talented music team led by @alacamoire and @cynthiameng. Basura is about finding joy through the power of music and overcoming the impossible with the help of your community— which mirrored the magic that was made in the theater every day. The Estefans’ music is just so great, it’s been stuck in my head since I left Atlanta a month ago! Meeting the real inspiration for Basura, the @orquestadecateura, and hearing their recycled instruments live was also such a gift. Lots of happy tears were shed during this process— I was so consistently moved watching our Basura community build beauty. Until next time!! 🎻🎹🎷🥁 by @libby.hatton
