Oh, hi, nice to meet you...

Ever since the launch of my new book This Book Made Me Think of You I've had some new followers join here so I thought I would do an intro to me and a guide to all six of my novels.

Yes, that's right, I have written six novels (and am currently working on my seventh), so if you enjoyed This Book Made Me Think of You then there are plenty more for you to explore.

I'd love to know which of my books you have read! Do you have a favourite?

My favourite is definitely my latest This Book Made Me Think of You but they all have a special place in my heart.

P.S. Not all of my books are available in all countries, sorry! I do know some international readers have had my books shipped from the UK - if you are one of these readers then a big thank you!

I am VERY excited to share this news...

My next book will be published in 2026 by @vikingbooksuk. This Book Made Me Think of You is a sweeping bookish love story pitched as P.S. I Love You meets Eat, Pray, Love.

It draws on my experience of the healing power of books. If you love books and bookshops, then this one is wholeheartedly for you.

(And I know 2026 is a little way away but I really hope it will be worth the wait...)

I've learnt a thing or two about creativity over the course of six novels and nine years as a full-time author.

But it hasn't been easy.

We are so conditioned to judge ourselves by our productivity and as a writer that can manifest as prioritising words written and hours at the computer over everything else. More 'work' and less 'fun'.

But if you want to have creativity then you need to make time for the fun. For doing the things that spark ideas and give you that buzz that drives you to create. You need to treat inspiration as seriously as you treat word counts.

Because it's only by making space for creativity and inspiration that you get the good ideas. Ideas that might just change your life. by @libbypagewrites

Exciting news!

This Book Made Me Think of You will be coming out in paperback in the UK on 14th January 2027, and it has a fresh new cover!

I am in love with this design that so wonderfully captures the bookish joy and escapism of the book.

THIS BOOK MADE ME THINK OF YOU

Twelve stories. Twelve months. One chance to heal her heart...

When Tilly Nightingale receives a call telling her there’s a birthday gift from her husband waiting for her at her local bookshop, it couldn’t come as more of a shock. Partly, because she can’t remember the last time she read a book for pleasure. Mainly, because Joe died five months ago…

The gift is simple – twelve carefully chosen books from Joe, one for each month, to help her turn the page on her first year without him.

And so begins a reading-inspired journey that takes Tilly around the world; from bustling sidewalks in New York and the tree-lined avenues of Paris to the tranquil Tuscan countryside and the white sands of Bali. With the help of the bookshop owner, Alfie, Tilly starts to discover who she is now, after Joe.

But can Tilly’s year of books show her how to love again?

💕

Author @libbypagewrites tells us why her local library is special to her writing process.

“I love to write in my local library because of how peaceful it is and the easy access to books for research and inspiration. My favourite spot is upstairs in a quiet corner facing the river and trees. It feels like you’re sitting in a treehouse up there. It’s so calm and inspiring. It’s where I wrote a lot of THIS BOOK MADE ME THINK OF YOU. If I ever feel in a rut with my writing and need to get out of the house, I head to my local library.”

We’re so glad we could close out #librarycardsignupmonth with this uplifting bit of library love. This book made us think of you (all our library friends ❤️) and the many more library memories to come.

Cheers! 🥂📚 by @libbypagewrites

This summer I visited a bookshop that has been on my to-visit list for a long time. It was a bookshop with a difference as it is part bookshop, part pub!

Whenever I travel I like to visit the local bookshops. It's this almost obsessive love of bookshops that inspired my book This Book Made Me Think of You which I consider my love letter to bookstores.

Have you ever visited this pub / bookshop? And what other quirky bookshops should I add to my literary travel list? by @libbypagewrites

It's been a summer filled with travel, family, writing and reading.

I stepped away from social media at the start of the summer and it's been great to unplug. It's also given me more time for reading. I've read some brilliant books this summer - swipe to see everything I read and loved.

P.S. If I haven't replied to a message from you this is why! I had a big deadline in the middle of the summer - luckily I made it and am feeling really excited about my next book. Watch this space!

Out of office / in office...

Just a little note to say I will be checking out of social media for a while to focus on my deadline for my next book (and to catch moments with my family in between).

This means I won't be checking messages. But thank you to everyone who has reached out to say kind things about This Book Made Me Think of You - your messages are fuelling me as I work on my next book!

Writing this one has been a long process but I can feel it coming together and it feels good...

See you on the other side.
