๐Ÿ“ธ DID YOU KNOW? โ€” Throwback Edition We might have a contender for best Liberty Debate throwback photo with this one. ๐Ÿ˜‚ In 1997, Liberty University had the honor of hosting the 51st National Debate Tournament (NDT) right here in Lynchburg, Virginia! ๐Ÿ† The NDT is the national championship tournament for collegiate policy debate, bringing together top teams from across the country. Hosting it was a major moment in Liberty Debate history. Liberty was represented by two teams: ๐Ÿ”ฅ Liberty LS โ€” Bill Lawrence & R.J. Snell ๐Ÿ”ฅ Liberty TJ โ€” Stephen Tynes & Doug Johnson The tournament also featured Dr. Jerry Falwell as the keynote speaker. Almost 30 years later, weโ€™re looking back at the people, tournaments, and memories that helped build Liberty Debate into what it is today. And seriouslyโ€ฆ can anyone beat this throwback photo? ๐Ÿ‘€๐Ÿ˜‚ If youโ€™ve got one, send it our way! Donโ€™t forget to donate! Itโ€™s not too late! https://givingday.liberty.edu/campaigns/the-dr-rakeem-robinson-liberty-university-debate-team-memorial-endowed-scholarship-fund #LibertyDebate #libertygives #libertyuniversity by @libertydebate
