My baby is TWO. 🤎

The day I gave birth to you, it was just you and me in that delivery room. Your daddy was away at Air Force basic training, and your big brother Cashi was with Grandma. At the time, I never thought much of it. I just knew I had you in my arms and somehow, that was enough.

Looking back now, that moment feels so different.

I had no idea what life would eventually ask of us. I didn’t know that there would come a time when it really would be you and me navigating this life together. Maybe in some strange way, that first day was preparing my heart for a future I never could have imagined.

And now I have a TWO YEAR OLD. 🥹

Watching you grow feels like the biggest privilege. Every new word, every little personality trait, every laugh, every milestone I notice it all. I want you to grow. I want you to thrive. I want you to experience a beautiful, full life and become everything God created you to be. You remind me of your daddy and brother so much

There is so much love surrounding you, including love from people you may not always be able to see.

I can’t promise that life will always be easy, baby, but I can promise I will keep showing up for you. I’ll protect your joy, pour into you, teach you, cheer for you and give you every opportunity I can.
