Albert DeCassius Marion, known as Baby Cash, passed away on June 16, 2025.

In February, when Cash was just 18 months old, he began vomiting frequently. His parents knew something wasn’t right and refused to accept a routine flu diagnosis, continuing to push for answers. In March, they received the devastating news no parent should ever hear: their son had been diagnosed with Atypical Teratoid Rhabdoid Tumor (ATRT) — a rare and aggressive form of brain cancer.

From the moment of his diagnosis, Cash fought with extraordinary strength. In April, he was admitted to UCLA Ronald Reagan Medical Center, where he courageously underwent major surgeries, including a craniotomy to remove the tumor. His journey was further complicated by pneumonia, and when doctors discovered the cancer had spread to his spine, his parents clung to hope, surrounded him with endless love, and continued to pray for a miracle.

On June 16, 2025, Cash took his final breath in his parents’ arms.

Cash was pure light. His short life was filled with courage, love, and a strength far beyond his years—one that touched every heart that came to know his story.

Six months later, on Christmas Day, Cash’s father, Albert Azeem Marion, passed away at just 27 years old, reuniting with his beloved son.

We extend our deepest condolences to Cash and Albert’s family, and to all who loved them. Their legacy of love, strength, and unbreakable bond will never be forgotten. 🤍🕊️
