A book I’m intimated to start 🙈

I can’t tell if it’s because this book feels absolutely massive or if it’s because I know this is such a fan favorite that I’m scared I’ve overhyped it in my head?

I feel like I need to book a cabin in the woods and just lock myself away for the weekend to start and finish this book lmao. I don’t think this is a book I can read in little bits throughout a work week.

• phantasma - it’s my book clubs pick next month so I’m for sure getting to it!

• fates mates of the winged barbarians series - I mean name something sweeter than protective gold retriever aliens????
• mead mishaps series - the definition of cozy funny reads

☕️ Mocha : an emotional read
• the prey drive series - rejected mates trope always make me cry
• court of ravens series - such a dark twisted series, cried so much

☕️ Espresso : a book I struggled to get through
• split or swallow - ok don’t hate me, I made it 67% through the book, it felt unnecessarily long

🫶🏼September wrap up🫶🏼

Everyone close their eyes and imagine it’s October 1st and that I just posted this. LOL better late than never I guess 🙂‍↔️

I read 9 books this month! Ooh girl I remember the days when i would read 9 books in a week… adulthood truly is not for me lol

I finished up the plated prisoner series 😪 truly loved that world and all the characters it was sad to say goodbye! But I heard a lil rumor that Raven Kennedy is making a spin off with Ryatt??? Yes pls.

I even read a non-fantasy romance this month so just gonna give myself a lil pat on the back for that one. Might as well have been fantasy considering the battle scenes and how they’d all “magically” heal within a day to fight some more lol

Overall had a good September! I’m hoping to read even more this month!!🫶🏼🫶🏼🫶🏼 by @libraryofliv_

🌊Between Tides & Thunder by Leena Kazak 🌊

Thank the gods I am finding more and more fantasy standalones! I love a good series but it’s nice to have some standalones in there too

YOU GUYS THIS BOOK IS A 6💫. I went into this book a little blind and I’m so glad I did the twists and turns….. I was screaming at my book for a bit 😤 my emotions were all over the place which is what I love in a book! IF you haven’t read this book YOU NEED TO READ IT!

For a standalone fantasy book this author frickin killed it. Sometimes fantasy standalones can feel rushed but this book was paced perfectly, the world building, the raw emotion and characters were depicted so beautifully. Such an amazing read!!!!!

Usually I’d put the blurb for the book but it was so fun going in blind so I highly recommend that! She’s a princess that is being married off to the crowned prince of an enemy kingdom in hopes that the union will cease all the bloodshed between the two kingdoms. But of course nothing is as it seems 🙂‍↔️🙂‍↔️

Ten books before the end of the year!! 🍁🍂🍊🎃🥧

Now will i be able to get through all of these books considering some of them are just book 1 in a series?? the juries still out on that one lol but im trying to be HOPEFUL!!!

🍁 The Sweetest Fiend & The Wretched Divine
usually im not a fan in starting new books that only have book 1 out but i can't help myself i really want to read these books!!

🍁 Threshing day... do i have to say more?? and its short so perfect to start and finish in one sitting

🍁 Spark of the Everflame! now that its a completed series i really want to dive into this world. Im a little nervous since i bought all the books at once but i have a good feeling about this series

🍁 Phantasma... look i know im like 50 million years too late on this book but im eager to read it this year

🍁 A Tongue so Sweet and Deadly . i hear nothing but good things about this series so of course i already bought the physical copies for books 1 and 2 already hehehe

🍁 The Third Ring. This one really made its rounds on BookTok so im excited to dive into this book and i believe theres dragons?? YUP IM IN

🍁 The Poison Daughter.. If you have booktok/booksta then you know this is the talk of the town, everyone loves a FMC that can kill with a simple kiss

🍁 Smoke and Scar. Ive been dying to read this series and the third and final book is about to release therefore i am giving myself permission to finally start this book!!

🍁 A Fate Inked in Blood. Im really behind on popular books if you cant tell.... but i really want to read a romantasy about vikings this year so im hoping i can get to this one!!

This month’s Moonlight Book Box is Phantasma!! Ugh so so so gorgeous. This book is going to be our next book club choice so this came at this perfect time!!

I know I’m soooo behind with reading this one. Tbh I don’t know why I’ve put this one off for soooo long. I think I get a little nervous about super popular books because I get nervous I won’t like it?? lol such a weird thing to get nervous about, but my TBR is endless so I was kept busy with some other reads also.

This edition is just so pretty and the end pages??? I couldn’t show one of them because it’s just a touch spicy and i don’t know how that’ll do with my algorithm 🤣

Monthly book club with the girlies!!!🤍🔪💀

This months pick was Lights Out by Navessa Allen 🔪

I listened to the book on audiobook recently and honestly I loved it. The narrator who plays Josh absolutely killed it, I’m about to look up other books he narrated because he did such a good job 🤣

We spent about an hour detailing the book to one of the girls who hadn’t read it yet and it was just pure comedy 🤭 retelling this story out loud to someone who knew nothing about the book was so entertaining lmao 😆

I’m so happy to have found a group of girls who are open to reading unhinged romance books, it genuinely makes me so happy to find others to yap about books with🤍

Next months pick is a sports romance book, it hasn’t been officially picked just yet but I’ll post when we have our next girls night & tell ya my thoughts 🤍 by @libraryofliv_

My babies!!! SOME of my god tier series!!
If you are a fantasy why choose girly and haven’t read the fifth nicnevin series…. Miss ma’am what are you doing?!?

Of course I had to have my TOG up there! Not a day goes by that I don’t think of this series.

ZA is just *chefs kiss*. I miss the chaos of this world so much. Truly one of the rare times that I loved every POV.

Savage lands is slept on!! Such an addicting read HIGHLY recommend and I think it’s now back on KU!

Lady of darkness… my babies! Another series I want to reread so that I can see these characters again. If you love TOG/ACOTAR then I’d bet my money you’d love this series too.

God I just love an addicting book/series that makes me stay up until 3am binge reading it. I chase that high every day 😌

Sorry not sorry 😣
These are all books I read and finished out of sheer determination. I didn’t click with them and felt myself being taken out of the story too often taken in BOOKSTA by @libraryofliv_

My new fave reading spot 🤍🧚🏻‍♀️🌲🐻

Nothing better than being surrounded by nature and starting a new book 🧚🏽‍♂️

I’m only about ~20ish chapters in so far but I’m really enjoying this book! I didn’t really read much of the blurb to be honest but the cover & character art drew me in. It starts off very dystopian? I’m not sure if that’s the correct word but their lives are completely controlled by The Guardians, they tell them what job theyll have, who their partner will be for life, everything is scheduled with a speaker overhead announcing when their shift starts and when Sunday comes they are ordered to “keep the spark alive” with their partners. They are taught that their way of life is all meant to keep them safe from the scary ~Monster~ that lurks on the other side of the Wall and it’s all for their benefit but slowly Saskia is waking up and asking the right questions. I can’t wait to see where this book goes!!

This was Chris & I’s first camping trip and it was so so pretty!!! & thankfully we didn’t run into any black bears which apparently are known to roam around these campgrounds so wooooo!!! I love exploring the PNW w my love here’s to the first of many camping adventures 🏕️
