POSTS STORIES REELS TAGGED

A very overdue September wrap up & some photos I HAD to share🧸✨

The amount of 5 stars last month was RECORD BREAKING!! But fr imma need you all to drop what you’re doing and read savage lands because omfg!!!

I know I rated fairydale and bury our bones in the midnight soil 3 stars which is technically a good rating… I would just like to say they left me so disappointed and I was fighting for my life to ensure the slump left me tf alone😭 sooo, take that as you will🙃

We went to a wedding in Suffolk hence us looking so fancy in a couple of the pics and because we were by the coast we had to stop off at the beach for a fish and chips before heading home!!!

Now for a life update! My boyfriend and I are moving in a couple weeks which we’re so excited about! Moving the HUNDREDS of books is definitely a downside to being a feral book reading book collector lmao but it’ll be so worth it!! I can’t wait to show you guys the flat tour… if you want to see it, that is👀

Life has been so busy so i’m missing all my beautiful book besties but I want you all to know how much I love and appreciate you despite my absence!!🤍

Anyway, that’s it from me for now but I hope you’re all having a lovely week!!

Xoxo
Shanice💖

P.S. I lied, that’s not all.

P.P.S. I am OBSESSED with the life of a showgirl. If you haven’t listened, you know what to do!! Also, tell me your fave songs!! Now… that’s all😚

Ohhhh how I miss this gorgeous, breathtaking, soul-healing place. We always talk about auto-buy authors…but what about auto-buy settings?

🥁I introduce you tooo 🥁 the “auto-buy setting challenge”

🏞️🐻🌲 My auto-buy setting: ALASKA! 🐋🏔️🐺

I’ve always dreamed of going to Alaska for the scenery, wildlife, and adventure & in July 2024 I had the privilege of getting to go on a 10 day Norwegian cruise with my fiancé’s family. We got to cruise through Glacier Bay National Park (pictured in the 3rd slide; this was my favorite stop even though you don’t even get off the boat), and stop in Skagway, Sitka, Juneau, Icy Strait Point, & Ketchikan!

If you know me, you know that I’m absolutely OBSESSED with the Great Alone by Kristin Hannah. Ever since reading that book, I haven’t been able to say no to any book that takes place in Alaska. I read it for the first time a year or so before I knew I was going to Alaska and got to read it for a second time while on the ship. It was so cool to hike through the Tongass National Forest and then hear it be mentioned several times throughout the book, as well as other cities and towns that we were cruising by. At one point on the cruise, I was reading it on the treadmill and looked up to see multiple humpback whales feeding under the ship 🥹 I’ve also always been fascinated with wolf and whale behavior given my past as a zookeeper & behavioral research intern so I absolutely love reading different books about Alaskan wildlife!

Tagging a couple other creators because I would love to get this challenge rolling and see everyone else’s auto-buy setting! You don’t have to have visited to be fascinated and obsessed 💕 Reading is a form of travel all by itself if you think about it…

Left pocket vs right pocket 🐇🤍

I forever wish I had bigger pockets but women’s pants never oblige 😔

Left pocket:
⭐️ sunnies from @freepeople
⭐️ vanilla @summerfridays
⭐️ my gorg tarot deck
⭐️ my kindle
⭐️ a good portion of the rings i wear every day
⭐️ a heart locket from my bf from @loxandchain

Right pocket:
⭐️ Queen of Shadows from TOG (honestly one of my top 3 fav books in the entire series)
⭐️ Fourth Wing (can we also pretend Xaden is in my pocket too? he definitely belongs there - also andarna)
⭐️ Queen of Shadows from ZA (All the heirs + Lance “the loml” Orion are also jam packed in my pocket as well)
⭐️ A sword hair pin so that I can fight off my enemies at any given time 🗡️

🤍What’s in your pocket??? I’m going to tag a few people in this! If you want to do it, YAY, if not, no worries!! if you’ve already done it, i apologize for tagging you 😅
