Hiii!! Long time no post so here are my five star reads of 2024!⭐️

All of these are nonfiction but I just know what I like!😋 I definitely recommend these books for people looking to read more nonfiction this year!!

it’s been so long so here is a r.e.p.o.r.t. from us!!
📖 reading: I just finished reading The Year of Magical Thinking by Joan Didion and it was a 5 star read for me! Super sad tho and made me sick to my stomach! I’m now reading Penance by Eliza Clark and I think it’s pretty good so far! -nicole
🍦 eating: i spent saturday at picklesburgh so obviously im eating pickle popsicles, pickle cotton candy, pickle ice tea, pickle fudge, and anything else you can think of. -emma
🪴 playing: at work! Im working at a botanical garden this summer which has been super fun!! -nicole
🤩 obsessing: i watched twisters on thursday night and im completely obsessed with daisy edgar jones and glen powell and might take up storm chasing as a hobby!! loved loved loved seeing glen in a really tight white t shirt and a cowboy hat in the rain -emma
🎙️ recommending: this is half recommending and half obsessing, but niall horan is the love of my life and has really amazing music. nicole and i both saw him recently and he was just perfect! -emma
🛒 treating: a little ikea shopping trip for my house! -nicole by @libraryofmatilda

This a reminder for me that it is okay to dnf books😁😁😁 I was super excited to read this book but after a couple of chapters I just knew I wasn’t super into it. For whatever reason I just kept reading and it took me a whole month to read, putting me in a huge reading slump! I’m not saying this was a “bad” book but it just wasn’t for me!

My favorite local bookstore is closing their doors for good so I obviously had to stop by and pick up some books for their last day open! I’ll miss this place so much🥲
