That's a wrap!!!!! We are officially done! Off to 4th, kinder, and pre-k! Have to shout my boy, he's grown so much and did amazing in his moving up ceremony! He wants to be a dentist when he grows up, sang all the songs, and impressed me so much with his bravery! Our teachers this year were phenomenal! Excited to see what's in store next year but I'm soooo excited to be DONE!!! Until next year ✌🏾! Side note- so much personality in these pics... I have my hands full 😂

I can’t quite put into words what my S8 family means to me. Saying “I love them” doesn’t fully capture it. Nursing is such a special profession — when you spend 12-hour shifts together, day and night, for over 10 years, through every high and low, you build some spectacular relationships .

These people have seen me through some of the best and hardest moments of my life. And recently, they healed something in me I can’t fully explain — but I feel seen. Truly seen.

During this graduation season, they poured so much love into me and celebrated this accomplishment in a way that completely overwhelmed me. I was already emotional knowing they watched my graduation, but this celebration brought me to tears.

Thank you all for embracing me, loving me, championing me, and always showing up for me. This party was beyond spectacular, and I’ll carry this love with me forever.

A very special thank you to Chris for planning everything, for your mentorship, your constant encouragement, and for always cheering me on. 💜✨

So grateful to share that I just graduated from my MSN Nurse Practitioner WHNP program at Jefferson Nursing! 🎓✨

This program demanded discipline, patience, and grit—and I’m proud of the work I put in to get here. I started the program without kids. Slowly, step by step, I worked through the program while birthing three beautiful babies. There were moments that tested me, but there was never a moment where I gave up. This graduation is a celebration of my work—and a celebration of the life I built alongside it.

I want to recognize my family and friends—thank you for the love, support, and encouragement that kept me going (and kept me believing even when things felt full).

I’m learning to dream big, trust the process, and understand that timelines aren’t everything. Progress is progress, even if it looks different than you planned.

Thank you, Jefferson, for preparing me for what’s next. And thank you to every person who supported me—your prayers, check-ins, and encouragement mattered more than you know. by @lifenlactation

Celebrated Maternal Health Week with the Black Nurses Rock Philadelphia Chapter at our 4th Annual Community Baby Shower at the YMCA in West Philly!

This event was a powerful display of community—bringing resources, education, and support to the families who need it most.

As a board member, I served on the planning committee and had the honor of being on the panel to help answer questions and bring awareness. I even had the pleasure of volunteering with Charli! Seeing everyone connect and support systems grow made it a meaningful day I won't forget!

Maternal health outcomes matter—and we show up for our community, every time.

Grateful to be part of the powerful conversation at the Delta Sigma Theta Sorority Inc. Quaker City Alumnae event, Rooted in Care: Strengthening Black Maternal Care in Our Community.

Honored to engage with State Reps Morgan Cephas and Gina Curry, and Community activist & Doula Mahalia Sealy, as we came together to uplift and empower our voices in Black maternal health. These discussions are vital, heartfelt, and transformative — reminding us all why community care matters so deeply.

Moving back through my year helped me see how truly blessed this year has been! Each pic is a month frozen in time. There were so many moments of joy that this highlight reel doesn't even do the year justice. This year was beyond my wildest dreams! I made new friends, strengthened old bonds, became a better parent/wife (I think anyway), and did some things solely for myself. This year was so intentional and while it wasn't "easy" it was fulfilling. There were parts of this year that felt like a flaming dumpster fire but it brought me closer to my community. I pray that the joys of the previous year are expounded on and the drama stays minimal. Cheers to the New Year! by @lifenlactation

Cheers to 40 Years!!!! So thankful to share this life with @live_love_tristan so no brainer that I would do my best to celebrate this gem of a human being! Everything was perfect!!! I could not have done this without family and friends! I feel blessed to have a community that supports us in everything. Thank you to family flying in for the surprise, family and friends who helped me plan every detail and kept me on track, friends who provided support even when they couldn't be there, the list goes on and on! I'm still riding high on a cloud!
