Off to pick up my soccer mum car eeep!
I’ve never been one to care too much about what I drive, as long as it gets me from A to B. But with a baby on the way, something reliable with plenty of space has suddenly become essential. An exciting morning calls for a cute, comfy fit, of course.

Honestly, why wait when you have the room and the excitement!

There’s something so special about getting the nursery ready and imagining your little one sleeping there. A cot with a plush new mattress sounds like a dream, although I suspect this baby might have a few opinions of their own about sleep.

Enjoying every moment of nesting early. It’s all part of the build up of getting ready to meet bubs right?

Pregnancy can be such a beautiful, transformative experience but it doesn’t look or feel the same for everyone.

Some people feel amazing, some struggle with symptoms every day, and many experience a little bit of everything. There is no single right way to feel during pregnancy, and there’s no perfect pregnancy experience to measure yourself against.

While we absolutely recognise that conceiving and pregnancy isn’t always an easy journey for everyone, we also want to honour how special it can be. With so much fear and misinformation online, it’s easy to forget that pregnancy is not a checklist of things to worry about. There are genuine risks and important things to be aware of, but there is also so much normality, joy, strength and beauty in the process.

Your pregnancy is yours. Your experience is yours. And it’s okay if it looks completely different from someone else’s. Let’s make space for informed choices, realistic expectations and reassurance, without turning pregnancy into something to be afraid of ❤️

Pregnant ladies, this one’s for you!
As someone who rarely used to wear a bra, since being pregnant I really struggled with the tight feeling across my back. Not a problem now! I see @wear_nala have also just launched a new sports bra that looks incredible.

Missing my training partner A LOT.

I’d be lying if I said training for the half Ironman solo has been easy. Our last training block was together and we loved every minute of it, mostly because we could suffer together and call it ‘fun’.

Kate is obviously pregnant, so training together is off the cards for now, although somehow she STILL has my meals prepped and my clothes washed!

I also don’t really have the luxury of training with friends because of work commitments, so it’s mostly early morning sessions and late PM training, aka me, my thoughts and a questionable amount of caffeine.

I think I need to seriously change my mindset and learn to enjoy training solo again, but how?! Solo training people, please give me your best tips for staying inspired…
